Which kind of reminds me, I need to stop admiring my coffee stash in my closet and start drinking it.

 

Agreed Eric! Just don't drink too much . . . had an Irish Coffee after a Morning Bell last night and I am not feeling too great this morning!

 

Cosmonaut out in cans today for anyone who cares. Stoked to try this one simply because of the weird factor.

 

Cosmonaut is delicious. And new can stamps... No "journey began".

 

Anyone open up a Cafe y Churro recently? I had one the other day and I just had another one, and neither tasted as great as I remember the one I had when it first came out being. Is it possible that it could drop off that quickly or is this a case of the first impression blowing me away to the point where subsequent indulgences can never meet expectations?


This prompted me to open one. More booze in aroma less cinnamon more vanilla coffee about the same. 4th beer of the night but sipping amazing

I'll save @augiecarton the trouble and give his stock "we update availability before the sessions on Wednesday and Saturday".

If you're already in NJ and within an hour of the brewery, just take your chances and head down at your earliest convenience. If they don't have cans left, you can get a 32oz growler of Cosmonaut.

Be happy you have a great brewery within reasonable proximity, where you can easily park, walk in, and buy cans with no lines.

There is no way to answer that from here, there are too many factors to consider. We do our best to stretch it as far as possible through things like release schedules, moving limits, and a basic low key approach. Best possible answer is “I hope so," just like all our beers we are hoping to get as many people in on the conversation about this one as possible.

 

Astronaut ice cream will forever remind me of school field trips to the Hayden Planetarium in the 80's. Lol..

Hoping I can grab some Cosmo before it's disappeared into the great wide yonder.

I was there a little after opening. Looked like they had a lot of everything, but you never know. No line at all, though. Brand new Odub too.

 

Glad to finally see a keg of Cafe Y Churro in Manhattan. Really wish I would have gotten some cans. Great beer.

 

Left at 7:50. I would say there was about 60 cases left. But I don't know if they keep more somewhere else. Past releases ive got there earlier and there was much more behind the table they were selling from. Again jus cuz there appeared to be ~60 cases there doesn't mean there wasn't more somewhere else

 

Anyone know if this is brewery only or if it will be distributed?

 

Thoughts on Cosmonaut? I'm digging the huge roast and astringency of the dark malts. Finding it just a touch boozy but not too bad. Would be interested to see how this ages.

 

Same. Really good but I wouldn't necessarily set it apart from all the other RIS beers I've had.
