I'll take 'What happens to your wallet when you buy too many mediocre/infected Hunter variants for $1000 Alex.'

Nah man.. more like "I'll pay $25 dollars for a limited beer release; only to watch people buy them days later without a $25 dollar charge ticket, and see them hit Indiana distribution Alex."

Okay. Even if massacre does happen sounds like a waste. But if the brewery is just open like normal, is 18th worth hitting up?

Yes, although I'm sure it'll be extra busy that weekend due to all the folks from out of town. I always recommend it as somewhere to stop for people coming into town.

I thought it was worth it, yes they offered some bottles post event, but the event itself had like 10-12 barrel aged beers available.

18th Street has a new location in Hammond that is much closer to FFF (15 min) than making the trek to Gary

High On Fire is out of the realm of possibilities as Sleep is playing Levitation Fest in Austin 4/30. Kind of a bummer, I was hoping for Sleep headlining DLD. Would be epic.

I haven't been to 18th and am contemplating going on DLD-eve instead of the FFF taproom. Though the taproom has appeal because you can scope the lay of the land for DLD.

I did that last year and it was interesting to see how everything was set up.

So this will be my first year at DLD but here are two turd newbee questions:

    1. I have a group B ticket (group sales 12:30-2:30), and have a shuttle from Chicago leaving at 9am. Shuttle should get there by 10:30-11 at the latest. Will I for sure be cool with all the lines and insanity to pick up my allotment?

    2. Our ticket guarantees us 4 bottles of DL and 1 Variant. Are we able to purchase additional BA Variants as well? (This might be the most nube question there is).

Inviting both helpful answers from informed vets and snide comments from Minecraft enthusiasts.

    1. You will probably be fine. Having said that, if you want your pick of the litter as far as BA variants (and what's available to Group B) you'll want to be near the front of Group B if you can.

    2. No. Although you may see others trying to sell their variant and that would probably be your other option.

Grape and Grain across the border in Homewood, IL is pretty okay, has Pipeworks distro.
St John Wine and Spirits in St John is usually where I go, pretty good selection of Michiana beer.
Wise Guys in Merrilville is a poor man's Binny's.

Could've sworn I posted this earlier, I may have been drinking....but Municipal Waste is playing Reggies the night before with no other dates until June. They're 100% playing Dark Lord Day.

Do people call Clutch metal? I love them, but don't think of them as metal.
They did a beer with New Belgium a few years ago.
