So I know CCB is saying not to drive to Huna Day but I have no choice. I haven't been to this area of Tampa before and I am wondering how hard it will be to find parking. Are there any paid lots around?

There should be plenty of garage/lot parking north of the park in and around downtown. I would suggest the convention center parking garage and just pay. It a quick walk over from there.

Good call on the Tampa Convention Center deck. There isn't a LIghtning game Saturday so the parking deck immediately north of the park should -- and that's the operative word -- be open. And if that's not open or it's full, the city also operates the Fort Brooke garage, which is a few blocks north of the park. One other, farther option is the Channelside parking deck.

Others, including my friend @TampaRainman, have pointed this out but be aware that downtown Tampa likely will be really congested that day since -- in addition to our little get-together -- the Gasparilla Music Fest is going on. It'll be a madhouse -- especially if you're trying to get to Huna from I-275 -- if the weather's nice.

Anyone with early access know if you need to do anything other than get in line before 11am?
It sounds like they will match the name up with your wristband - but i cant find anything explicitly saying so.

They sent out an e-mail saying that your name is on a list and you just go to the front of the line between 10 and 11 and they will match your name with your wristband.

What if you bought two passes, did they take a second name? We got two and have a group of four... we were wondering if the purchasing couple gets to enjoy, or if we could split them up 1 and 1.

It just says that if you have a guest they must have a registered/verified wristband. I'm just bringing my guest up to thr front of the line with me. There was nowhere to put a guest's name when checking out so you shouldn't have problems doing 1 and 1 with your group as long as you have 2 passes and 2 guest passes.

If you're still in town Sunday, you should be at Huna Hangover Day at either 7th Sun location.
