New Belgian-Alpine colob brew "Super IPA"?

    Any Chicago area sightings yet? Psyched to get a shot at a "near" Alpine without trading serious weight.

    This is totally like talking to myself, and must violate some level of net protocol. (answering my own thread)

    But, since there's been so little info about Chicago's closest encounter w/ ability to purchase Alpine, I had to update. Binny's So Loop had bottles Friday night. Trying a bomber tonight, and if's it's 75% as good as a pure Alpine, it'll still be awesome. And if it's not, I'll need to contemplate what happened at NB.

    Yep currently in Denver and the only place that has it is at the Brewery. When I asked they said that it should be shipping soon. Some of the delay is that the last lips of faith series bretbeer hasn't done well as far as sales go, so distributors are trying to push threw that stock first. Even the liquor stores here in Denver don't have it yet.

    Im in Milwaukee, just bought a bottle at Discount today....decent, but it seems to have the "burnt vacuum cleaner belt" flavor that every single Alpine IPA has

    My west burbs Binnys thought they'd receive this week.

    And besides being awesome, I think I paid $6.50 a bomber...for a DIPA.

    i was a fan. would get more but i only saw one bomber. picked it up at a whole foods a couple of weeks ago.

    mishuggah said it tasted like bug spray.

    I think it's awesome, tastes very representative of the Alpine beers I've traded for. It's very similar to Pure Hoppiness. And I got it for $5 a bomber!
