Agreed, but that shite is like tears of a newborn baby seal, ever so precious.

50/50 Eclipse variants. Hard to pay $20-$35 for something that's just average. When you think you can spend $5 more and get Black Tuesday, it just doesn't make sense.

Got a local brewery (will withhold the name...they do make some good beers), whom makes a 6% ABV porter (not barrel aged to my recollection) puts it in a 750ml bottle and charging $20 a bottle in retail stores in my area.

Overall BA rating is 3.33 currently (3 reviews to date).
Overall Untappd rating is 3.69 currently (23 reviews to date)

For price, ABV, style and quality of brew, that may be the most overpriced beer I'm currently aware of IMO.

Or buy BA Narwahl, or KBS, or Avery stouts. All are better and much more competitively priced then $20-plus for Eclipse.

Definitely agree with a lot of the ones mentioned, especially Ballast Point, but the first thing that comes to mind for me that I haven't seen mentioned is Founders Devil Dancer. $24 a 4 pack is crazy when there are better triple IPA's out there for $10+ less

I love Cascade, but their bottles are always sitting on the shelves here in NYC because no one wants to pay $40-$45 for a bottle.

Hmm... Lost Abbey stuff sits on the shelves in MA because of the price... as do a lot of Prairie ales, even though they're brand new to the state.

I believe the correct answer is, "all hoppy beers in bomber formats".

I would have to agree with this, there are so many really good hoppy beers that aren't much more than $10 a six pack. There are some exceptions but not many.

All the seasonal IPAs sold in bomber format. $8 for a bomber equals $25 sixer.

There's beer stores near me that charge $11, what a joke.

Over here you can tell how old Hoppin' Frog bombers are by how deep you can push your finger into the layer of dust on them. In twenty years they'll still be there staring at me from the shelves, if I'm able to make out the deeply unattractive labels from under the dust.

I agree with a lot of the ones mentioned here, but the ones that come to mind for me are Prairie, Against the Grain, Crooked Stave, Mikkeller, and Evil Twin.
