This is probably yet another "go to" quality ipa.

I cannot remember precisely (mostly because I cannot remember much of all) but I think my wife, kids, and I stayed at a hotel in FL where he had a restaurant. We had a great time. A lot of Hulk memorabilia around. Thanks for a trip down memory lane.

    Finishers:

Great witbier as usual. Robust flavors of lemon, orange, pear, apple, coriander, peppercorn, clove, wheat, cracker, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Balanced yeast/spice notes against malt with a bit of wheat tang on the finish; with nice wheat creaminess and slight spice stickiness in the mouthfeel. Very smooth and great complexity and robust flavors for a witbier. Not overly spiced. Glad this was phased into 6 packs 2 years ago. I have bought it quite a few times since then, when I am in a witbier mood.

Delicious this year again. Big juicy blood oranges; with grapefruit, tangerine, lemon/orange peel, and light piney hops; with balanced wheat, cracker, biscuit malts; and floral/grassy hop earthiness. Light-moderate pine/grassy bitterness; with balanced wheat creaminess and hop stickiness in the mouthfeel. Super drinkable, balanced, and flavorful for 5% session beer status. Seems to be mostly a hated beer in the ratings; but I loved it last year, and this year too. Really balanced between blood orange, hops, and bready malt flavors.

My go-to milk stout. Robust flavors of dark chocolate, cocoa, coffee, toast, dark bread, cream, and light vanilla; with some light earthy/herbal hops and a light-moderate herbal/roasted bittersweet finish. Great creamy/silky medium bodied mouthfeel with a slight touch of roast malt stickiness. Just finishing off the latest six pack, always excellent stuff.

Great IPA. Flavors of big peach, mango, pineapple, papaya, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, and light peppery hops; with moderate malts of caramel/toasted bread and herbal/floral/grassy hop earthiness. Balancing pine/grassy bitterness; moderately dry with a sticky/resinous mouthfeel some balancing creaminess. I still prefer Centennial as my Founders go-to IPA, but this is really delicious too. I find the malt/hop balance of both to be pretty similar; but this one feels a bit more dry from the hop character. Last one of the 6 pack I bought. I'd get it again, but I am probably just going to stick to Centennial mostly.

Mine is Stairway to Heaven. BTW, the name 10 years conjures up 10 Years After band. Probably too long before your time.

Well Stairway to Heaven was my senior class song and I graduated high school in 1995 so you do the math. Yes my senior class was awesome. Thank god we didn't have a stupid class song. I love the Zep. It would be difficult to pick my top 5 songs because it's changes depending on my mood.

Tomorrow night, I am going to open my last bottle of Local Species, a bourbon barrel beer brewed by Blue Mountain Brewery in the great state of VA. I would like to send you a bottle or two but do not know how to do it.

Really like this brew. Somewhat surprised by some of the middling reviews (although an admittedly great "Outstanding" overall rating) and comments of thinness. For me, this is just an extremely well done aggressive coffee stout.

Drinking my Badger loss sorrows away. Oh well, the real tournament beckons. And my boy Norm makes me feel better...

Don't want to freak you out, but I have daughters that are 2000 HS grad and 2007 HS grad. Neither of which like Zep. They, like my wife, like Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson, and all that other like music.

I, on the otherhand, am still a die hard Zep fan. Did you ever hear Jethro Tull?

10 Years After performed at Woodstock. I had their double live album....name escapes now. Haven't thought of Alvin Lee in years....make that decades.

Hey LNBA's!!!! Tonight I'm switching things up a bit. Starting real late like last night but having a box of battered fish tenders (hopefully they'll be good) with hot sauce and a bagel for some reason. With that is a nice return to Heady Topper, made possible by @BobbyConlon!!!!

Certainly not freaked out, my brother graduated in 2000. I have seen Dave Mathews in concert twice. I know some Jethro Tull but not a lot.

I would have loved to have been at Woodstock. The 60's and 70's were such a great time for music.

Is there a law that this kid (I will not mention his name @5EKLF) convinced this old timer to have another beer. Gotta like him though.
