So, if he has both bands, and he will be late, how did you figure to gain admission without a band? Tampa to Daytona is 130 miles, most certainly, "east of Orlando", which, at 6 AM on a weekend morning is about 2 hours or so, giving an arrival at least 2 hours before kickoff, which is in the police bums' rush period. Sorry, but I'm confused about your situation. Cheers!

What we are trying to figure is if there is a way at this point to figure out which is registered to who.

So that I can take my correct band and he can take his.... So when we show up at different times there will be no issue getting in.


So you know of that method?

I would call vendini. I think that's your best bet at this point.

 

Just take both bands with you and enter early, to make sure you get in. When your brother arrives have him call you and you can exit and give him the other band. Re-entry is allowed. So you can both come back in. And if you are in line for a whale when he gets their tell him to wait!

If he comes after 11:45 there shouldn't really be a line for re-entry

 

This is exactly what we had planned if I couldn't find out specifically.

Great job not forming a 2000 person long line before 10.

 

Yup. So I decide to follow the rules and not line up before 10am and I am now 2000th in line. Joy.

Wonder if the first few will be buying cases of DB Hunahpu . . .

 

I was on the opposite side of the River Walk when I saw the line start forming at about 9:35. I'm probably 400-500 deep.

 

I've been to many a beer fest and this seems to be the worst line I've ever seen. Wow....

 

I was here hanging out at 9:30 because my friend is volunteering. I will say that there was no line at all until 9:45 or so and then it exploded super quickly. I saw it start to form when I was over at the coffee truck and went over as soon as I got my coffee and am still a couple hundred people back. A lot of people hanging out in the vicinity but certainly no one in line super early. Everyone is going to get in though and it will be fun. Cheer up everyone. It's just beer.

 

I know there will be no glass sales at the event, but does anyone know if Hunahpu Day glassware is for sale at the tap room? Something along the lines of the glasses like Cycle did this week?
