Can we get a new method for Mods to label potential Bad Traders when a Bad Trader thread is created?

    Hi,

Figured this is a good time to ask since currently there aren't any open Bad Trader threads. In the past, the Mods linked the Bad Trader thread (was a great idea!) to their profile which usually got them to respond to the thread. However since the profile post has been recently eliminated, can another way to label these potential Bad Traders be created? This way, other BA members can be warned before trading and the potential Bad Trader can be persuaded to respond and hopefully make good on their trade. So many of these potential Bad Traders have 100% feedback so some clear indication on their account would be very helpful. Thanks.

We actually have the beginnings of a new way in place. It's not 100% complete yet, but the end result will be the following.
    • User A starts a bad trader thread on user B.
    • Mod issues a special warning on user B; receives warning, gets tagged and a conversation is started that urges them to visit the Bad Traders forum for resolution.
    • Tagging is happening on the backend only right now, but we'll be applying a visual warning for other traders.
    • Upon resolution the mod can remove the warning, which will remove the tag.
    • No resolution after XX days (TBD), our system will automatically ban the user.
Once it's complete I'll post an update.
