I'm assuming not, but the store that was supposedly holding a few bottles for me has sold them, apparently. Anywhere these still to be found?

I thought it was SD / Chicago / NJ only? (something like that)

It was So Cal/ Chicago/ NJ which means it made it all the way up to LA.

I think it's pretty much dried up in LA at this point. We got one case of 22's and it was gone within 24hrs. Probably turned 30 more people away.

It's been showing up on tap randomly. That may be your best bet.

This is sort of what I expect (it was gone at the brewery when I swang by last weekend) but just wondering if anybody happened to know of any holdouts. I'm assuming all the "name" stores have sold theirs (all the ones I frequent for sure), but any slightly off the radar spots, maybe?

Go to stonebrewing.com/enjoyby and check out the map of places that carried it. I did that here in Orange County and stumbled on a few liquor stores that I didn't even know carried good craft.

Boneyard Bistro in Sherman Oaks had it on tap. Not sure if it kicked or not, but they might take a phone call if you wanted to know.

I can tell you that when I asked my rep, they said they had one keg and 8 cases of bottles for half of the 818.

Wow. So there were like four zipcodes in the whole freekin' country where you could get it? That's kind of annoying, somehow. As if the whole point of the release was that it would be so impossible to find it would be bound to generate a buzz. Although I suppose that would've been fine with me if I happened to live in one of those areas, so I probably shouldn't complain.

A certain store I know was originally supposed to get 4 cases, but only received one. It didn't even last through the afternoon they received it. I had a couple glasses on tap, thought it was alright - certainly no Ruination 10th, but better than 16th.

In order for this to work there's a lot of coordination that needs to take place to get the beer to shelves in a short period of time. As such, each release of this beer will happen in limited markets, but the plan seems to be to keep repeating it in various markets... and they're using social tools to let people vote for where the next release will reach.

As successful as it seems this was (by which I'm judging solely by how quickly it seems to be disappearing from shelves and people are tracking it down) I would IMAGINE that many more markets in the comings months can expect they will get a batch.

Another idea would be for them to try to actually supply the SoCal market.

I understand they don't want to flood the market with too much, so maybe we're due another round.
