A customer at the liqour store thinks you work there because of all the bottles you are carrying.

The people at one of your favorite shops recognize your number on caller ID and answer with "Hello {First Name here}" -- this might be along the lines of alcoholic though, not sure.

You drive way out of the way to shop at a bottle shop owned and ran by an actual "craft beer guy", even though it is a bit more expensive.

This happens to me all the time at Total Wine when I go in there on my lunch break during the week. Perhaps not so much due to the bottles I am carrying but how I have to dress for my job.

More and more often you find yourself in different parts of town/towns waiting for the liquor/beer store to open so you can get your necessities before work.

A beer geek wakes up in the morning thinking about what beer to have after work, or is that an alcoholic?

Would depend on how much you usually drink after work. I have one after work everyday, nothing wrong with that.

You have a Google Doc spreadsheet of your cellar

and in my case, spend all money earned on beer, bars, and gas to get these said beers and go to said bars.

... and go without make-up and new clothes because of RS allocations.

When every planned vacation turns into a beer hunt in new territory....no matter how much you swore you weren't going to do that this time.

You are part of private facebook groups to discuss beer (since BA is not enough) and since you want to keep on track of the rumors & speculation (like insider stock trading) of rare keg tappings in your area.

You buy a kindle fire just to store beer related ebooks to travel with

You spend most of your time looking up beers on beeradvocate on your smartphone when beer shopping

Not too many 22 ounce bottles cost over 14.99 here. Even La Folie and Abyss are under that mark. Now 750's...I say $25 is where price gets questionable for off the shelf beer.

If I lived somewhere with different distribution, my thoughts could easily adapt.

You carry 2 cases 1.3 miles because you have no car and no one would pick up their phone...and you'd be damned if you where going to miss out.
