At the corner of Old Water and Channelside right now. I think I'm about 5,484 people back.

God no! Joey will whine and cry again and cancel all future Hunahpu's Day events... Until May when he'll ceremoniously announce: "It's back!" #hunahdouche

Curious as to why.......although we will miss you immensely.

Day couldn't have gone better IMHO. Just left, bottles in hand and relaxing in hotel room. Great day!

Not happy with the number of breweries that killed everything super early. Pretty bogus. Are they here to drink or serve beer? EBF was much better run, imho. Do they provide any guidance to Brewers on how much to bring?

A ton of stuff was already kicked by 1pm. Obviously whales, but a lot of other stuff was gone too. A good amount of breweries had stuff packed and gone by 130

If you played by the rules and lined up at 10, you got fucked. Had to be 8k there in line before 10 with most cutting in line without consequences. FO, Ab vanilla Zhuke, summation etc all GONE before you could even get there. Cigar City screws it up again, far worse than 13. What a complete shit show. Been coming to Huna Day since 11. It's now joke. And let's not even talk about they just did to the trade value of Huna with 20 K bottles dumped out today. CCB sold out today. You assholes keep it.

I don't think trade value is something a brewery cares about or should be concerned about, CCB can put out as many bottles of Huna as they please.

Quit being a Debbie Downer. It's easy to be a complainer, but no one likes someone that can't find the positive in things. Be optimistic for a change. It was a beautiful day with plenty of great beers that plenty of people had a shot at even if they lined up at 10.

Sure they can. Just an observation but those of us that trade Huna notice. If it doesn't bother you, don't worry about it.

Breweries can't be expected to bring enough of their most sought after, small batch beers to feed 10k people. They were always going to tap out super fast. The fact that huge amounts of people focused on those breweries meant that they tapped out of everything fast is not surprising.

As for the "lining up early," I'm actually surprised it didn't start way sooner. 9:40 I think was the first person. I showed up minutes afterwards and planning to hang out around the corner or something but it had already started. It was a nonstop flow of people after that. Had they waited till 10 the vast majority would still have been far down the street, waiting the 10 minutes it took to get in

I am pretty positive. And I am pretty positive that they fucked that Huna Day up big time. But you go on with that rainbows and sunshine thing....actually it was ok once you realized it was a train wreck. A few good beers and good friends. But it felt like bait and switch. Most of the great beers were gone before noon.
