Has Tweak hit anywhere around Woodbury/Cottage Grove?

 

Any chance some Abrasive is still hanging around out there? I don't care how old it tastes great to me still drinking some from November and it is fantastic!

 

Plenty! I just grabbed 1/4/16 from Costco in Burnsville last night.

 

Arrived in Rochester Friday, you would think Woodbury would have it around the same time.

 

A ton of Abrasive, Todd, and Pseudosue still in Rochester. If you can't find any or make the trip let me know, we could work something out.

 

Dang I will see if I can get someone to snag some for me but yeah would work something out but not much to trade for in South Dakota.

 

Looking for some fresh Psuedo and Todd, preferably in the Maple Grove area as I am coming down from St Cloud. Also any idea if X Hops Gold will be making it up this way this time around?

I visited The Nova this past Saturday specifically for Gold (it's probably the best pale I've ever had) and the guy at the register wasn't aware TG rebrewed it but said he figures they would get some. Not much to go on I know.

Those are normal industry prices. You can't assume a store is going to sale price rare beers...

 

$12.99 has been the "common" price for Tweak and Vista has been $16 most places, IIRC.

I also wouldn't call Vista "rare". Probably "limited", but that is just semantics

I'm just noting that their pricing seems to have changed a bit. Entered the market as price leader and now seem to be normalizing to average or slightly above. I know their pricing will vary on stuff to have "sale" prices for some releases/items and above market for others, while being close to average on the rest.

TW is notorious for coming into new markets with below average pricing on alot of things. They get you in, thinking that it's the best deal in town, and slowly adjust prices accordingly after they get people in the door. IMO, it's better to shop small and get to know stores. You will get similar pricing, plus, alot of time they will save you beers if you are a good customer.

 

Tweak and Apricot also at South Lyndale. just over two cases of Apricot. $12.99 and $15.99, respectively.

 

I appreciate the info on Rochester distro Didn't happen to hear when Apricot Vista is hitting Rochester did you?

 

These 2 are $14.99 & $16.99 respectively @ Gwill BP, where EVERYTHING costs you a buck or two more....

Vista was 15.99 everywhere and Tweak about 12.99 or 13.99 but I think people are now getting now the point that TW isn't all it's crack up to be.
