I love the Belgian "Noel" style- which is fairly vague but is just Belgian Christmas beer, typically spiced, and usually has a strong dark base.

Love me some St. bernardus Noel, and Corsendonk and Gouden Corolus Noels. look forward to these each year.

There are not enough Blue Moon and Shock Top beers in your area!?!

I'd say old ale/strong ale (non-hoppy), especially BA versions. The Bruery Anniversary beers, BA Batch 9000, etc. are some of my all time favorites but get done so much less often than the BA stouts.

I mean a good wit not, mass produced garbage. For example http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/21154/54966/ was an awesaome beer that i had down in Florida last year. I actually now try and grab a bottle of this blueberry version or even the plain every time im down in FL.

They do not distribute down here, but one of my buddies from New Hampshire brought me their variety pack. Fantastic lagers.

I see from another thread that Jacks Abbey is expanding their distribution into New York State. Great stuff if you've never had it. Maybe that includes NJ, but at least you are within striking distance of some great German style lagers.

Surprised to see scotch ale posted so much. I feel like most every brewery in MT has a scotch ale. Probably one of the most popular styles here.

That's always my go to answer for when these kind of threads pop-up. The style is woefully underrepresented, and when I do actually find a new one, it's usually very subdued.

    Brown ale
    Kolsch
Cream ale (but not weird coffee or lacto added and called a cream ale, just the real thing)

Weizenbocks, ESB, and my personal favorite historical brew to bring up in conversation that sometimes just tastes like caramel, the Kentucky Common.

The only one I've ever had (or heard of, really) is Surly Three. I had in on tap a few times at various locations around Chicagoland in 2009. That was back when I though I didn't like beer. I loved Surly Three, but I definitely have a sweet tooth.
