Cycle BA day

Does this person have lots of tattoos.

 

Not that it needs to be stated again but Doug and the team did a great job!

The beers were all fantastic but the managing of the event was perfect. The change to two pours per person shortly into the event solved the long lines almost instantly...along with all the bottle sharing of course.

My favorites: Cognac Coconut, Maple Bacon, Cognac Hazelnut, Wednesday & Friday, Vanilla Garbage and BA Ecto. All the week days were very good and I was kind of surprised how good Monday is after reading about it being "thin".

 

I was also told he was kicked out of Huna day as well lol.

 

Being an asshat and trying to fight people and being pretty vocal about it...like always.

 

Yeah and a big one on his neck.

 

I've met him before down in Sarasota when a bar tapped CBS a year or two ago. He was nice enough and shared some Pseudo with us. He brought up the homeless mule issue and said he just knows the guys at breweries and he doesn't use mules. No idea regarding the veracity of any of it but I know his reputation and I see him at about every release.

Did anyone else get unlabeled bottles of Pallet #5?

 

Yes, one out of our total 8 was missing a label.

 

Anyone a little surprised that all 5 weekday bottles were bourbon barrel aged? I was a little surprised after getting to BA day and seeing a nice variety of barrel treatments. I hope we see a Rum barrel release at some point

Agreed. With all the relatively new rum distilleries starting up in Florida over the last few years you'd hope we'd see some more Florida breweries using Florida rum barrels. Maybe it's just a matter of time?

Nuts, you beat me to it. I drink that toasted coconut at room temperature neat.

 

May be a non issue for you, but he tried to fight several people, including a buddy of mine at cycle ba day.
