O'so Bottled Sours in 2017

Based on Door Kriek selling out in under 60 seconds, publicity was unneeded.

 

Yeah but now the trade forums are blowing up with people looking for ffg (mainly frampaars), pretty much right after those reviews were posted. Also, I'm sure tickets for the next release are going to be even harder to get now.

I know Levi has said that he values the proxy system so that people around the country can try his beers, but it is going to suck if locals (that can attend the release) are getting shut out while people across the country get bottles for their proxy to pickup.

 

There's really no good answer for how to deal with the proxy situation. What Levi could do is sell X amount of tickets, and then allow people that missed out to buy bottles in person (1pp?). Granted people could abuse that too (see NG releases), but other steps could be taken to minimize it. Or maybe that's a really bad idea and will just cause hundreds of people to lineup outside O'so. Yeah, I kind of like the idea of no proxies.

Honestly, its really weird to me people are going so crazy over frampaars its a great FF beer to be sure but IMO its not a whole lot different from framrood. The red raspberry obviously impart a dryness to framrood that isn't as prominent in frampaars but its kind of a small difference. Also IMO vsb and frampaars are nothing alike, but what do I know bros gotta have those purple sours.

 

Can't wait to get my hands on this one. No release date yet, but I'll be patiently waiting. Blueberries, from back home no less!

It will sell out quickly on BPT, not just some guy will give it a kickass review, crazy ISO/FTs will pop up, repeat.

It's a mini-series of 4 beers. 2 have been bottled already, the other 2 soon. Once all are bottled, we'll set a release date.
