Triple Threat - NBS BIF #3

There is one state on the east coast that I could drive to, but prefer to fly, that has Wawa.

 

Shipping 112 oz. out to my target as a warning shot tomorrow. If my target has listened to any albums on the Matador Records label, he may know that my favorite album of all time is an indie rock record from a band from his state that came out in June of 1994.

That's probably incredibly obvious to about 1% of us and utterly useless to the rest.

 

When I was big time into hip-hop in the late 90's and early thousands, I remember these guys putting out some hip-hop stuff too. Completely blanking on the artists though.

 

I think I know what state you're shipping to.

Near Marlowe's old noir place
North of the rich mouse

Granted, this one is more cryptic. My target should know where some big ass trees are. Marlowe and noir both refer to the 40s film noir and Philip Marlowe. Marlowe's stomping grounds was basically California in the Los Angeles area. Know any mice involved with large sums of money?

Last and most specific:

Coyotes renamed
for other mammal not dead.

For Smilodon and Baleen,

This is totally specific for my victim, er, target. A local park renamed, a local museums' exhibits of prehistoric life forms, and a photo of the inside of the museum.

So yeah, I guess, cryptic except to the One who is the local Keymaster.

If it's any consolation, I have no idea who is my sender - any sports references are terra incognita to me and a lot of the rest of the clues are too vague to be helpful.

Nice recap, and while I do recall and fit most of them, I think there is at least one that knocks me out - so it seems @thebeers may have figured out something, as have I.

 

I think see where your going with this.

 

Assuming the internet is correct about local stuff and that I can read a map...
