Good price ... That's about the same oz price that GE charged for a growler at the 2014 release. Did they borrow these pints from an unnamed pizza place.

Headed to Virginia Beach very beginning of June. Plan to perform due diligence in the appropriate regional thread, etc., but wanted to ask for suggestions here as well. Thanks in advance.

If your travels take you in or around Norfolk, i would check out SmartMouth Brewing. It looks like they may have distribution in Virginia Beach. Also in Norfolk check out The Birch craft beer bar. A friend of mine recommends the DIPA at Reaver Beach Brewing in Virginia Beach.. didn't get to try it doe

Young Veterans Brewing in VA Beach is on point! Definitely take a second to hit up their taproom! http://yvbc.com/

Though I'm not the cashier jockey there anymore, the new pub in the Wexford Whole Foods opens today. It's massive and will definitely be the new spot for anyone in the north hills.

Note - the draft and package selection might be a little weird right now because all the dumb brass are there for the setup, but my bro Dave knows his shit and it'll get better in about a month or so.

Draft list is pretty good actually - Abyss, Hop Juju, Hopslam, Nugget Nectar, some 10% Anderson Valley wheat beer with currants

Don't think we've the time to add Norfolk to the trip--hopefully see some distro nearer VB. Reaver has an interesting lineup though and near another suggestion below, so thanks.

Yowza, the food menu could keep me interested for every meal for the entire week--while this isn't on our direct path either, will try to swing wide and include it. Thanks.

    Will check this out; thanks.

Another thing, I picked up a bottle of Lost Abbey Track 10 yesterday at GEMDWHATEVER and hell's bells it was good. Pricey but mighty fine.

I'm pretty sure there was a line at opening last year, but I went after Gratitude and had no problem getting anything. I think the Grand Cru kicked first followed by the cask. Not everything kicked that day - I was in there during the week after opening and they still had the Bourmuda Triangle and Blackbeard's Delight. May have even still had the Taco Flavored Kisses.

Can't hurt to get there earlier, though.

Ill be there at opening but didn't want to run into an issue where I'd have to chose 1 or 2 to try before they all ran dry. I might be going solo so I wouldn't be able to rely on sipping a sample of a friend's choice.

Nice write up about Voodoo Brewery in Craft Pittsburgh Magazine (March/April). Keep the awesome brews coming guys! I've especially been lovin the Hoodoo. Very underrated IMO. Too early for a countdown? Nope. 11 days

Nice thing is I am counting down to batman vs superman so the countdown to voodoo will only be 2 days

I forgot about Batman vs. Superman as soon as I saw the preview. Superman would end Batman in less time an I can conceive. I actually forgot that the release was Easter weekend until my wife told me to reconsider my plans for the 26th because we were having dinner at her parents that day. I settled that I'd go to the release and make it back for dinner but I can't get as drunk as Christmas Eve. I'm told I was a disaster.

Batman vs Superman???? That solidifies that Hollywood has given up on new ideas for movies. I feel like Hollywood is being run by 12 year olds.

So in the 70s with the superman films that was ok? The 90s with the Keaton batman but now it's run by 12yr olds yes Hollywood is running out of ideas but to put characters that have been around for 75 years just makes sense. The bigger problem is the live action remakes of cartoons and remakes of classics that should not be touched. Hollywood has always been a cash grab but does not stop it from putting out great movies every year.
