Totally agree with you there. A simple picture of the tap list and posted on social media would work just fine. I know Cycle takes that approach. But hey, that's probably the whole mystic they're going for.

I think they're just getting use to other people from outside of Tallahassee actually seeking their beer, so I wouldn't be surprised if they get to it soon. They're still pretty weak about social media, facebook aside.

We are very lucky to have a brewery like Proof in Tallahassee. I am also lucky that I get to go there at least once a week. Glad (and a little worried) that the rest of the state is finally catching on.

You quiet down! That was our little secret, remember?! Was awesome and perfectly refreshing.

Thankfully I had their gose, I think Kissing the Giants or something, and really enjoyed it so was interested to try the fruit punch. I think he laughed the 4th and 5th time we went back and said, "more fruit punch and fill 'er up please." Nice guy too, who I assume is a brewer/owner?

Yeah, the guy was real nice, and didn't seem to mind me being a repeat visitor. Although they did get a short line once in a while.

Sad to hear this beer was a on/off/random beer. I'd trade for this in a heartbeat.

I hope they start posting a tap list. I would keep watch and jump on a request for a crowler pickup of any fruited berliner or gose they do. It gets HOT down here!

I pass thru Tally once every month or so and stop in to Proof quite often. Great place. One time I got a crowler of Blueberry or Raspberry Kissing Giants...I didnt know it was a members only beer and neither did the new guy behind the bar apparently. Damn good beer. Ill be swinging by there in 2 weeks, Ill be looking to bring something delicious back home.

Since this is turning into a proof brewing thread, what are some of the other breweries/beers people found at Huna day that were great. Aside from the main award winners

Besides previously mentioned 18th Street and Almanac...I really liked Country Boys Brewing out of Kentucky and they were definitely some of the nicest guys pouring all day...their 2 beers were really solid

I thought everything from Casa Agria was good, the Cuvee Sour from Yazoo was excellent, both IPAs from The Answer were good as well and all of the usual suspects were spot on too. There was just so much good beer there.

AB Summation was on for at least an hour and a half - I got it around 12:30 and I didn't go straight there, I had probably 15-20 other beers first. I do agree that it sucked that so many beers/breweries were done so quickly, but that wasn't one of them.

Was going to say just this. That was the only area that was a shitshow, IMO. Every other brewery had either an obvious line or no line at all, with plenty of room to get around.

All in all I thought it was an extremely well run event. This was my third year and it's only gotten better each time, hope they keep the same format for next year!

Wrong. CCB paid for two kegs from each brewery. If they wanted to bring more (which many did) that was on them. That's why some were tapped out early and some poured all day.

Bingo, that's the way most fests are where the host will pay for some if not all of the beer. I know that the BA festivals are paid for by BA, although some breweries will bring extra stuff on their own dime.

AB Summation was on for awhile. Got several pours of all of the 3 Sons beers. Largely because my wife flirted with one of the brewers telling him how good his beer is for awhile and he kept pouring her some, which she handed to me.

This is why it is important to bring an outgoing good looking woman to a beer festival.

This is exactly how the owner of Casa Agria explained it to me.

This explains a lot. Kudos to TG then. Though I'm curious if CCB could have paid more for them since they are definitely a main attraction every year.

I was impressed by Casa Agria and The Answer... impressed that they lasted past 1 PM, especially given the very high quality. I was turned down like 20 times starting around 1245.
