Brick and Feather has their IPA out now and it's a new sleeper hit in my book. Not a juice bomb but somewhere in the middle of a bitter west coast style and the new NE juggernauts. It's called Letters from Zelda.

Honest Weight had their Branch Bridge pale ale on tap a couple places this week. I read it's brewed with oats, which i'd venture contributes to it being smooth as all get out. deliciously hoppy and insanely drinkable too. Best new pale I've tasted in a while! VERY excited for their taproom to open next weekend!

Good episode of Seacoast Beverage Lab here with a lot of details on the new Notch spot in Salem. Some of the biggest points: hey're aiming for next spring, want a beer hall/communal type setup, no kitchen, full pours, and they'll be doing some (gasp!) non-session beers. I picked a good time to move to Salem.

Gentile Brewing is opening up a taproom in Beverly. Not sure on the ETA but it's been written up about in a couple local papers already. The head brewer used to work for Mercury.

Add Fox Farm to the CT list. Owner Zack Adams won the Sam Adams Longshot contest a few years ago. He brews great beer. Focus on sours and hoppy offerings. Had a blended lambic dry hopped with white grapes from a test batch thathe was unbelievable. Predicting big this from this small brewery in Salem!

I've had a bunch of stuff from New Park and can say their stuff is on point. TH, (old) NEBCO, Kent Falls level brews. Opening seems to be hitting some delays but hopefully this year. Alex, the head brewer, is an awesome dude and knows his beer. He made a light strawberry sour beer a few months back that was really quite delicious and his hoppy game is on point. Can't wait for them to open. I live in West Hartford, much shorter drive then Tree House.

Lasting Brass (if and/ or when they finally open) could come out of the gate with the sour game blazing. They have made some world class sours already.

River Styx Brewing is planning to open this summer in Ashburnham MA. Brewery will not be open to public but we will be selling at local liquor stores and pubs. Will also be checking farm stand sales are possible. River Styx Brewing on Facebook and Insta. @riverstyxbrew on Twitter. Also on Untappd and coming soon to RiverStyxBrewing.com

I had a great sour from Proclamation in Rhode Island. Also hearing great things for some of their other beers. Worth the trip and already open in RI.

Since I said this they posted an update that there is some sort of trial relating to their permit, so they are still moving forward (or trying to anyway).

And it looks like it is Exhibit A brewing going in there. That is Matt Steinberg's (@konabrewer) new place. I am sure he will be along at some point to chime in as well.
