I didn't forget. I just didn't know about it. So this is Advanced Oak Theory with a different whiskey barrel?

I just skipped it. After what we've spent on Casey since January, I'm 100% okay with missing out on one more.
I hope it's amazing and the best beer he's ever made for those that did.

Correct. A whiskey barrel from Peach Street. $6 more (plus tax) than Advanced Oak Theory. But you know, waelz, bro.

waelz for sure. One of these days I'll shell out for a bottle or two of Casey, it's just tough for me to spend $30 on a bottle of beer.........C'est la vie

Just don't say that out loud with the wife in the room.

Wife: "So how many $30 bottles DO you have?"

Don't really give a shit about whalezbro. The new batch of Advanced OT was one of my absolute favorites from the last release and I'd love to see what different whiskey barrels did to it. I'll be drinking my West Slope Connection straight away if I get a bottle because I like to drink great beer.

Also forgot. So I sent an email this morning, and like some of you I immediately thought, Do I really need another $30 bottle? So I don't really care I guess.

Let's be honest, we don't need any of the beer we buy, it's a commodity through and through. We all prioritize our purchases and choose the beers we want most. For me, the overwhelming majority of my beer dollars go toward Casey each and every month.

This is all sorts of true.

If you are going to spend $30 on a bottle of beer you really can't go wrong with buying a Casey. You know it's going to be a quality product, sight unseen.

Frankly, there's not many breweries out there that have this sort of guarantee at that price point. The shelves can be an expensive game of drainpour Russian roulette sometimes...

I'm playing Russian roulette while waiting for Casey to sell it's April release tickets!

Tickets on sale as of an hour ago, looks like they're not flying as quickly this round. I won't be up for this release myself, but enjoy for all of you that can make it.

I'm curious, was this a "silent" release? It looks like it sorta worked if tickets were not sold out immediately like last month.

He announced at the beginning of this week that tickets would go on sale sometime this week at a random time, unannounced. And once the ticket site was live, he would announce it on all forms of social media. That is what happened this morning at about 8 am MST. Beers for the release will be posted sometime next week.

It seems like this silent/unannounced release worked out really well!
