They could brew and can soo much of this.. yet.. they do this instead. Really starting to tick me off with their controlling of supply and driving up hype/price :astonished:

Don't let it bum you out.

They brewed a lot of El Paraiso and that was a really good beer.

It can be fun for a beer to be more limited and have more mystique because of it.

Ugh... but the next weekend is Red Angel. Not that all the trips to Asheville are bad, but sheesh. :slight_frown:

If one lived in Asheville one could make a good bit of side money just going to Wicked Weed every weekend to buy bottles and resell.

Possibility of selling out fast? As in if I get there 30 mins before 10:30 will I get some?

Is it illegal to give someone money (plus some) to go pick up bottles for you?

Pretty common practice. I would guess that it is but I honestly don't know.

Visited 2 days early.... Burial has a release that day as well.... Might be worth the return trip from GA

While one could debate the legality of it, the practice of buying beers with the intention of reselling them to make a profit is the lamest thing that takes place in the craft community. Just my opinion but buying and reselling limited beers at a profit sucks. If someone views beer as an investment instead of something fun to share I hope they move on to something like flipping houses and leave the beer for those of us that just want to drink it: end rant.

Also, I don't think you were advocating or are doing this yourself so not directed at you, just needed to vent my frustration at this practice.

No, definitely not advocating, just joking. I've never bought or sold in that way.

This was my favorite Stout of the season from WW. A lot of times a beer says it tastes like something described. This actually did taste like a S'mores to me. Well done.

Want badly since I missed out on French Toast cans. Sadly I work this weekend and am coming up for Red Angel next weekend anyway. Just take my money WW.

The only reason it bums me out is because I missed the draft version by a week. I attempt to try most all their beers (that look good). As many as I can. So yeah a little bummed. If they released the cans and had another run on draft brewery only I would be much happier :grinning:

We're all just pawns in the game of craft beer.

I had a pour of S'mores at the French Toast release and like it better. But getting up the mountain this weekend isn't in the cards.
