Dark Lord Day 2016

I like the idea of filling everyones 6th hole with something tall and dark. I would like to know what our ear holes will be filled with. Lets see the band line-up!

It's FFF's 20th anniversary, but that doesn't mean that DLD is their 20th anniversary party.

 

Except for the fact that the graphic sent out by eTix to announce ticket sales says "3 FLOYDS DARKLORDDAY-XX ANNIVERSARY PARTY-APRIL 30TH, 2016"

One of the bands is almost guaranteed to be Municipal Waste. They play Reggie's the night before. No show the day after. Reggie's will modify one of their buses for the band like the following for the journey to Munster. It would be epic.

 

Went from "F Yeah!" to sad trombone really quickly reading this post.

 

I'd be surprised if Municipal Waste played, given the probable radius clause in MW's contract with Reggie's that prevents a band from playing within x miles of the venue within a certain period of time. Plus in this case, given the likely overlap between MW fans and DLD attendees, if Floyds were to announce that MW were playing DLD, then most people who'd planned to go to both would skip the show at Reggie's (since MW is already included in the cost of a DLD ticket), which would screw both the band and the venue and create a lot of bad blood all over the place. But watch me post this and then have Floyds immediately announce Municipal Waste as headliners; what do I know.

In conclusion, the lineup will be Slayer w/ Doof Warrior.

If they're pulling out the big guns then this Keg is getting the dust blown off of it, right?

 

Likely says other venues, not beer festival. Plus Reggie's isn't The United Center and MW isn't Taylor Swift. With no other tour dates until June except for Reggie's april 29th, they're playing.

 

Yeah, Dark Lord Day is already sold out. No bands have been announced. I'm sure this doesn't violate the radius clause.
