Not that I am aware of, I just meant if you can't get by there to try this batch then make grabbing a bottle in distro a priority.

Stopped by for a draft last night. I missed out on the last batch, but this one certainly is hazy/juicy, and lighter in color than what I remembered from last year. Still outstanding.

I did learn they ordered their first batch of cans for their core beers. They have a mobile canning crew coming in soon. Hubris in cans would be amazing.

@CavemanRamblin , is Hubris on tap at the LBC spot north of town? Can't find a taplist on their site, but I've got a buddy in town for the day and would love to give it a try. I don't make it down to Raleigh much, so it's going to be a good chance to hit up Trophy and a couple other places.

I'm pretty sure it's on tap at both locations, but I couldn't say for absolutely sure. When you say the one north of town, do you mean the Grill or the brewery over on Whitaker Mill? If you mean the latter, then yes it definitely is on tap there at least as of yesterday.

Speaking of the hazy/juicy thing, my MA inlaws came into town yesterday with Tree House freshies. If anyone in the Triangle is interested in swapping for a few cans, shoot me a PM.

You've definitely caught a bolt of lightning there. I've never had a TH beer that didn't WOW me in some form or fashion. Can't wait for the day when their new brewing operation is up and running. No doubt the chances of alot more of it making it to this area will be that much greater. Enjoy...

Also, looking forward to trying this batch of Hubris. Through some stroke of luck we landed a couple of bottles this past Friday at the Beer Study. Appreciate the heads-up @CavemanRamblin. Seeing it in cans as @KRubes mentioned above would be pretty amazing.

Seems like places only got a case each of Hubris bottles, I struck out everywhere I looked. Fortunately I've been able to enjoy plenty on tap, so I wasn't too heartbroken.

Heist Citraquintial just became my favorite Carolinas IPA. A true NE IPA in every sense.

Easily the best IPA in the state! Eric and Scott are doing great things at Heist! Salud kicked a keg of it in 1:15 last night at their 4th Anniversary party.

They are absolutely SLAYING it!! The Coconut Cataclysm and Mayan Stout they brought to Black and Blue were phenomenal!! The whole Cataclysm series have all been amazing beers. As blown away as I have been by those beers, I got my lid popped back smelling and tasting the Citraquintal. I hope they continue to brew more IPA's in that style. Producing those kinds of IPA's will put them on the map (big map, as in US, not just Charlotte or North Carolina).

Ok. Split a bottle of Hubris with the better 1/2 the other night and really enjoyed LBC's 1st run at a big batch of it. So much so I'll move it back into my #1 NC DIPA (not that it really ever completely moved from it). Seemed cloudier than the last batches that I have tried. Anyway, nice... nice beer and to see that in a can would be oh so kewl.

On another note, all this speak regarding Heist really has peaked my curiosity. Especially regarding Citraquenchal. The description of that seems right down my alley. They must have really turned things around as last time I was there (3-4 years ago) I tried a flight and everything to me was in the meh category.

The beer at Heist when they first opened was no different than any "brewpub in a box" like Rock Bottom, Hops etc. It is a completely different scenario now. Eric, the head brewer, is making the best beer in Charlotte and arguably in the state. You will have to drive to Maine to find an IPA as good as Citra-quench-al.

IPA is hard to judge when speaking of "best" IMO. Everyone has different hop varieties and combos they like/dislike. So there is that. I will have to check heist out when I go to Charlotte next weekend. I always skipped it when I used to live there.
