Butts N Brews on SR 62. Don't leave without White Rajah. I would also look grab some other OH only stuff like Jackie O's and Columbus Brewing. Keep in mind that you are only a short drive to Fat Heads!

Speaking of Dayton, has anyone tried Baltic Argonaut? I had it on draft a couple months ago and it was okay, but then again just out of the can yesterday and it was delicious! Wish I had more of it.

Back on topic, I got a newsletter stating that Hoppin Frog is doing a matcha beer, I think this weekend. First I've heard of such an attempt--have any other breweries done this?

Super Juicy Juju must have kicked at the brewpub today. I thought they had plenty to go around but I guess not. Bummer! I had to settle for regular Juju. How terrible.

We did one with matcha, coconut, and honeydew last year. Petty cool beer I might toss onto a release taplist sometime.

Can't wait for it up this way...seriously their IPA is still the ONLY staple in NE Ohio with any solid coverage beyond the hole in the wall nerdporiums.

Yeah... We got there last night at like 11pm... Out of juicy. Had it a few weeks ago, but heard this batch was even better. What sucks is a few hours later they post its back on tap (today). Oh well. Lol

Homestead has always made solid beers across the board, but don't sleep on 3 MC's. I think @PJ_ had already mentioned it too, but this beer is ligit. Can't really think of an Ohio ipa that is similar. South of Eleven may be the closest comparrison. Reminds me of Moylan's Hop Craic and maybe Ghost in the Macine though

3MC's is fantastic. Homestead has been cranking out some seriously good IPA's in the last couple years, I especially liked The Artist Series Vol. 2: Time (The Revelator). That beer was really, really good.

Yes. In 4 packs. They have some at the brewery now. I have seen it in a few stores. They told my brother when he was there Thurs that they were going to brew and bottle one more batch in a few weeks

Good to hear they'll do another run. Last time I was there (~ 2 weeks ago) I was told that they're planning a new series of fruit IPAs too.

I really want to check this place out. Had plans to attend the last release but the weather didn't cooperate. Can someone let me know what these releases are like from a crowd standpoint? A case limit tells me there should be plenty of this to go around. What time do people start lining up for these particular releases? Sorry for all the noob questions but don't know a lot about WR

I haven't attended a release but from what I hear these are well planned out. If you read through the link above there's a section about what to expect. What I can offer though is whatever hassle may be involved it would still be worth it. And make sure to try the rauchbier if it's on.
