Was Dark Territory the one at ABR that ran out crazy fast?

 

A buddy of mine lives in Cream Of Wheat building, and adaptive re-use has long been integral to the neighborhood.

 

I don't know, but I would guess that if any of their beers ran out that day, it was probably Dark Territory. Coconut stouts just are more attractive to many beer fest go-ers than kolsch, a basic pale ale, and a rye lager.

Lupulin's Tropical Orgasm, another coconut stout from a new and lesser known brewery, ran out that day too IIRC

 

I think I'm thinking of that that Tropical Orgasm one, it sounds familiar.

 

Anyone in the Rochester area know if any CW BBBW ever made it this way?

 

Bite your tongue. Anything with rye is more attractive than ANYTHING else.

Speaking of rye, what the hell happened to Frostline Rye this year? I noticed their maibock is out already. Frostline is pretty much the only thing from Summit that I purchase anymore. Is this another discontinued rye beer?

I'm 95% sure I remember reading Frostline Rye has been discontinued & yes, while it was around, it came out before the maibock.

The didn't make it this year because all of the 30th Anniversary beers have been too demanding on their brew schedule. They are hoping to make it again next year.

Any one know if 3/9 Todd is still around in the metro (closer to St Cloud then Lino Lakes)? Convinced the gf to make the trip to Nova last night and was so excited about fresh Pseudo and X Hops I completely forgot to look at the Todd.
