That doesn't include a group of fun-loving hippies and hobos from Bellingham, does it?

Well good luck for the Rusty Nail release....

No need. It's been my experience that hippies and hobos often intend to stand in a line but end up wandering off aimlessly before too long. By the time I arrive, they'll usually dispersed.

I suspect that when Rusty Nail is finally released later this year, there may be something of a line that first day it becomes available at the UBG. But I'd also be willing to wager the entirety of my (very modest) cellar that it won't all go that first day, let alone in a couple hours, and that one needn't wait in any line to get it. They are big enough, they probably made sure to brew enough, and that's just not how they roll.

Are hippies even flammable?? (Asking for a friend ...)

Agreed! I can't wait for Midnight Still b2. I actually heard they put it into barrels a few weeks back.

Because it's going to be a beautiful day and people should go for a hike or something

Start rounding up the hobos, @beertunes...I already handed in my resignation at work today, and after tying up some other loose ends tonight, I will be over there with my 4-season tent holding our spot first thing tomorrow morning.

If we can't change the system, maybe we can beat it.

A friend of mine in Seattle told me he waited, like, a whole hour in a line to buy beer at HM. I don't know how you guys can wait so long, even if the beer is exceptional in every way.

I don't mean to rub salt in your wounds, but one never need wait in a line, for any length of time, to get their hands on something "exceptional in every way" out here.

Then again, I'm pretty sure you'd never have to in Michigan either.

This thread is apparently the gift that keeps on giving.

Waiting for Penguin's customary "nuke this thread from existence" post :-)

It's pretty chill the way you guys don't do lines and other hysteria but pretty lame the way you guys get all bent out of shape when someone mentions a bottle release on the message board designed for that explicit purpose.... so i guess lets just call it a wash

Maybe NW folks don't think this forum is designed for the "explicit purpose" of listing bottle releases. There's a lot more to beer culture here than waiting in line for bottles. I figure that goes a long way towards explaining why there are so few lines and so little hysteria.
