Im loving Great Lakes Oktoberfest. Looking forward to trying DFH Punkin and Founders Breakfast stout.
I love this time of year because you cant go wrong with the beers you pick. Its hard to drink a Stout in 90 deg temps, though I do my fair share.

Founders Breakfast Stout for sure! That beer is amazing! Also haven't ever really been into pumpkin beers, but I'm gonna give a few a try this year. DFH Punkin and ST Pumking for sure. Also recently saw the SA Fall Seasonal Pack and I'll pick one of those up as well. Just need it to cool down a bit.

Its that time of the year again... I have had plenty of "seasonal beers" like SN's Tumbler and NewCastle's Werewolf to name a couple and im wondering, what others are out there that are worth my buck?

    BeerAdvocates,

As the weather gets slightly cooler day by day, this can only mean one thing; ladies and gentleman, welcome to the best season for beer- the fall. Over the next few months some of the best beer brewed will be consumed in mass quantities, and a lucky few will be cellared to be enjoyed at a later date. Since this season always seems to pass by too quickly, this thread is designed to speed up the process of finding a new great fall beer. This is a place to post your favorite fall beer(s), seasonal or not, fresh or aged. And maybe by the end of the season we will have a few clear winners.

    Cheers!

Well I'd probably put Dogfish Head Punkin Ale at the top of my list. Smuttynose is probably my second favorite. Many are just big clove bombs to me. I do enjoy Terrapin's Pumpkinfest however and for an Imperial it's hard to beat Imperial Pumpkin from Weyerbacher.

As a side question to anyone out there who might know. How soon do Pumpkin beers start to fall off?

Sam Adams Octoberfest and Sierra Nevada Tumbler.
I also recently tried Sam Adams Hazel Brown and thought it was tasty and "fall-y."

Well it would have to be the Octoberfest Biers leading the pack for me. Victory is my current favorite and Left Hand a close runner up and when it's avaialble Paulaner and Hacker Pschorr for the imports (but those last two are hardly ever available anymore here in Tallahassee for some reason).

Schlafly is by far my favorite. Have Williamsburg AleWerks Pumpkin in the fridge for tonight so that may change. Also a big fan of Pumking.

Tried Fat Jack last night, didn't like that at all.
