Had some on draft at Redbones this past weekend. I'll try to post some pictures later today or this week.

Very good stuff, hopefully I see bottles soon.

If no one gives you the reply that we're both looking for, I would just say give it time. It looks like it's coming from east to west, judging by where those who have already tried it are from

I live outside of Philly. Shangy's distributes Weihenstephaner. Just wondering if there has been any rubblings

According to the Total Beverage link, Shangy's has this. I'm guessing you'll see it next week hopefully if it hasn't hit stores already. I picked up a sixer earlier in the week and I enjoyed it. Good luck!

    Where'd you pick it up?

I haven't seen it stores yet, just had it on draft at Redbones.

Winthrop, MA ... If I can get it there it should be just about everywhere else.

I just picked some up at Martignetti's in Brighton. Nice stuff.

And on a related note, I hope you've come across the draft-only Notch Zwickel Bier that's been popping up at local bars. I got a chance at the Independent in Somerville and it was really good.

Hopefully it also comes in .5 L/16.9 oz bottles.

Thanks for the tip! Way ahead of you though.

Picked up the 1516 at Downtown on Sunday, I think I liked it in the bottle even more than on draft.

I plan on heading to Redbones at some point tomorrow to try Notch's Zwickel as well, probably after CBC's sour fest.

Information appreciated; thanks. I will seek this along with the other two new(?) Weihenstephaners I saw mentioned in the thread.

I wrote my feeling about this beer in yesterday's edition of WBAYDN but for those who don't want to fish through...it's fantastic and buy it if you see it. I drank the whole 6-pack in a matter of a few hours, just so easy to drink.

Beautiful hazy, not too cloudy, color. Great feel, just enough to feel a little heft. And...a great bready taste immediately that stays the entire time with a refreshing hit of citrus about halfway through until the finish. Can't thank Weihenstephaner enough for making this and will pick up more if (when) I see it.
