Did I imagine an Inflatable Time Machine re-brew? Could've sworn I heard it mentioned at some point.

Wow. Sorry to have apparently offended you.

The Hoof guys have asked for suggestions in the past and that was just one of my suggestions.

Wasn't telling them how much better someone else was doing, but mentioned that there was another brewery doing very similar things and maybe they could look at their system for some inspiration.

Anyhow....who else can't wait for South of Eleven this weekend?! Been craving that beer since they released it last August haha.

Weather looks like it's gonna tank this weekend. Might end up having two tickets available (probably gonna make a last minute judgement call tonight).

What would be great would be to add a third line for drafts only and stop holding up the cans-only line with people getting drafts that either can't read or don't care.

How was the turnout today? Did cans sellout?

Very good turnout! Solid line the entire time. SoE is a killer beer, the aroma was very similar to Heady IMO. I liked this run better than the first batch last summer. Bit more bitterness than some of the other juicy IPA's, which I dig. Hard to believe it is anywhere near 10.5%... Had on draft only, excited to see how the cans are later this week when I crack one open.

Grabbed my cans and ran out, any word on next Sunday's can/bottle? I'll again be going through and would like to stop for some good beers!

Next Sunday is Easter so I wouldn't count on a release

Trevor said no release next Sunday, but there would be one the following Sunday.

I didn't listen to the podcast but I am curios to know how Hoof Hearted gained their popularity. Was it marketing, advertising, or just plain hype?

Oh wow, I am a dumb ass. I knew it was Easter and I still said it haha sorry.

Anyway, I just cracked open one of my south of eleven DIPA, and this beer is absolutely fantastic! I was not impressed by roller blabe. I thought it smelled amazing, but had off tastes. This beer though is amazing. High marks from me and I'm glad I got to try another beer so I was jaded on hoof.

A mixture of the name, their references to 80's pop culture, their ridiculous artwork, and amazing beer. Everything I've had from Trev has been from solid (Plutonium Nyborg, Tub Life, Voltan) to just outright world class (Roller Blabe, Konkey Dong, Wangbar).

I'm betting if you had one of the big name hazy NE beers side by side blind with say Roller Blabe, you wouldn't be able to tell which was which.

I had a Blabe and SOE on draft and honestly had a hard time telling the difference between the two.

One of these isn't like the other.
    Top original batch
    Bottom recent release
Albeit the new batch is good , it's completely different from the original .
I personally preferred the original batch. Is this a sign of inconsistent brewing or just making beer hazy to be hip ?
