To keep everything above board, FYI - Heatwaves sent me AZ as a pick through my inbox before the start of the day, but was unable to enter the pick in the pool website. I have updated manually in the pool. he is IN with AZ as a pick.

Yup, Duke and ISU will be popular picks.
    That's fine.
Hopefully a few more people lose out today, just not me!

I broke the first rule in this pool, second guessing my first pick and changing right before the deadlne. Thanks Utah.

I will not apologize for the A&M game, until Iowa fans apologize for their game! March Madness is great!
I turned it off with 90 seconds to play, so upset, then someone texted that they won!
    On to Thursday!

Pretty sure asking this will lead to an immediate loss for me in the pool but I don't recall seeing any plans for payouts (how many winners get boxes / how many boxes each place gets 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc). Not sure if it was ever established.

BTW, thanks for running this thing @MastaaaGrillaaa!!

Good point! Payouts and tiebreakers as follows. We hit 22 people, so 18 boxes to 4 winners:

    1. 10 Boxes
    2. 4 Boxes
    3. 3 Boxes
    4. 1 Box
A reminder on tiebreakers and end scenarios. Not sure if this how the website will grade it, but these will be the rules. If you run out of a team, you're out. If you run out of a team and everyone else either doesnt have a team or loses, you tie. For example, 2 people left in the Final Four. One has no team, one does, but that team does not win. Therefore neither survive and you both "tie". You don't win a round just for having a team available and another person does not, your pick must survive.

Tiebreaker: Add up all the seeds of the teams you picked, most wins.
Tiebreaker 2: Highest (biggest number) seeded team of last correct pick, if a tie after that go to previous pick, and so on.

So, basically, you made it to the round, but lost with no pick. Just like the guy that made it to the round and lost with a pick.
You still beat the people in the previous round.

Either way, you stated it today, so you can "manually" adjust if it comes down to it.

    That accurate.

So both of us make it to the final 4, we both have 25 points. YOU cannot pick because you are all out of teams, and I can still pick...I pick a 1 seed and loose. Because I picked and extra team, I would then a have 26 points and beat you based on tie breakers.

OK, so being able to pick and losing is no better than not having a pick.

    Neither person advance.

I can see an argument that the guy with a team left should be ahead, but you stated not so today. It would go to overall tie-breaker.

Might adjust some people's strategy. NBD here...

To be honest, this may only matter in the final four or finals, so might be between 1-3 people.

You're 1 seed lost, you don't get that point. You end getting to the same round and both "lost" in the final four.

This is accurate. Total points of correct picks.
