The batch of Agrestic that went into distro was 3,000 cases. If those TTB labels are accurate, you can almost bank on those beers going to distro...which is f'ing awesome.

Well if they do hit distro and in those numbers... I'll have to 'liberate' them from Costcos up and down the state.

Not sure if this is the right thread, just wondering if anyone knows what bottles they are currently selling for take home at the Barrelworks facility in Beulton. Any ideas? Parabajava?

I was there last Thursday and they had bottles of Parabajava. Had about 10 on display, one per.

I was there on my way north this afternoon. My brother and I got a parabajava but they were out when we left at at 3. Only four in the fridge when we started though.

Was lucky enough to pick up a bottle of Parabajava on Friday. There was only 5 in the fridge after I took mine.

5 in the fridge, and apparently an infinite f*cking supply in some storeroom somewhere...

Everytime I see Parabajava in the case, I can't believe how poorly that release was handled. There is no reason why everyone who got turned away that day, should not have gotten a raincheck for at least 1 bottle. They could have had beer there (Barrelworks) within an hour if they cared...I'm sorry to feel this way, but they really dropped the ball on this one.

I was there last Wednesday at opening and seen this:

Only saw Feral one and Sucaba in the case. Asked about it and was told that they were gone since monday. Instant heartbreak.

Buddy grabbed 2 today. Said about 12 in the case and all gone when he left. 1 per

Next release info. TL/DR version is a 1 month pick up window and proxies allowed. Also this one is on BPT.

The Liberation of Peachy Bones & Champs de Fraise

Join Sour Jim & Barrelmeister Jeffers on Saturday, April 16th as we unleash two new Barrelworks beers to the wild! Introducing Peachy Bones, a wild Saison fermented with white peaches, and Champs de Fraises, a wild ale fermented with strawberries.

Purchase bottles via Brown Paper Tickets then stop by Barrelworks for the release on Saturday, April 16th. Bottles are 375ml, $15.50 (plus tax & CRV) each with a max purchase of four bottles per beer (eight bottles total per person).

For guests who purchase the full allocation (four bottles of each beer), then we invite you to join us in an epic bottle share hosted in our barrel room by Sour Jim & Barrelmeister Jeffers on April 16th! Bring a bottle to contribute & then kick back as we crack open some of our favorite brews.

Please read carefully as we have substantially changed our releases:

-Bottles are 375ml & cost $15.50 plus tax & CRV each.
-Bottles go on sale via Brown Paper Tickets on Wednesday, March 23rd at 9am PST.
-Guests can pick up bottles starting Saturday, April 16th at 11am.
-Guests must pick up their bottles by Sunday, May 15th at 8pm otherwise they will be forfeited back to Firestone Walker Barrelworks without a refund.
-Bottles are only available for pick up at Firestone Walker Barrelworks in Buellton, CA.
-Guests may purchase up to four bottles of each beer & may not make multiple purchases (yes, we will be monitoring names, emails & credit cards).
-Guests may proxy for one additional guest; meaning one person is allowed to pick up the allocation of two beer purchases total.
-Only guests who pre-purchase the full allocation of four bottles each will receive an invite to our barrel room bottle share. Guests are encouraged to bring a favorite beer from home to share.
-Guests who are invited to the bottle share will need to check-in with a Barrelworks staff member to receive their bracelet which will give them access to the barrel room. Guests may not bring any other friends with them unless they have also purchased the full allocation.

Barrelworks is about innovation, exploration and trying quirky ideas to continue to evolve our Liberations.

Those both sound good. Too bad they'll be sold out by 9:00:01 on Weds.

Just when we see a compliment, there's already a complaint . Just get your F5 fingers ready!

Proxies allowed means this will be a pretty bad shit show. :/

My complaint - moving from Eventbrite (an awesome system with app that updates ticket info for you) vs BPT... serviceable but a bit of a problem half the time.

Online sales >>>>>>>>>>>>> lines (and the inevitable line cutters) at RR/BL/Alpine.

At least this way I have a chance and it's not some black friday bullshit.

Libertaion releases meant you had to go up and get it, which cut down a lot of sales from those who just could go "pick it up for me, brah".

I mean, i don't know why we're talking about lines, since the only fuck show they have tried the lines was that Parabajava, which has no history with sour releases other than the first one and that was handled like a champ in their method.

Most of us still have to go up and get it... you can only proxy for one person...

All I'm saying is that in the past these events sold out in less than a minute. Now this is going to break some records in how quickly it'll go. Though with lowering the limit, hopefully that spreads the love a little more. But man, this is one that I'm sure will go fast.

BPT has more of a crashing/lag issue than Eventbrite as well.
