Is there anywhere in Waterbury or Montpelier to get HT on Friday night or Saturday morning? Winooski is too far for me since I am in Killington for only 1 day.

Thanks all for the feedback. The two of us were able to piece together a bit over 2 cases of each: HT, SoS, and Second Fiddle. It's safe to say that you need to do research as to when the retailer gets their shipment and be there at that time (which we did) or at least within an hour.

There were about 12 people at Hill Farmstead from when we arrived Friday at 11:45 to when we left around 1:30. They said it's been slow since President's day.

Wasn't able to get Focal Banger at Prohibition Pig and wound up going next door to The Reservation which was a total sleeper. They had the best tap selection of any place we went and also had bottles of Crooked Stave (CO sours). Mostly locals and got to hear the "back in the day" stories about the VT beer scene.

Where did you have your most luck with your pick ups on the cases?

If I saw this sooner I would have suggested getting the Pro Pig IPA in crowlers. It's pretty amazing really.

Not on tap currently, in fact, I've only brewed that version once. But I am brewing an IPA this week, so maybe I'll brew that one again.

Let me weigh in by saying that I thought it was outstanding. As good as Abner or really anything else.

I was at the Bevie around 845 on Saturday. First 15-20 people got cases..I was probably 15th. Pretty fun line, too. Cold, though.

I saw Heady Topper at Healthy Living this past Saturday morning - I don't think I've ever seen that before.
I feel the Worcester/Boston IPA boom is intercepting a lot of the people who have been sucking us dry for years. Being a self serving narcissist -I love it! Throw in warm weather in March with no skiing and it's a great time to get beer in Vermont.

Last year around this time, came up from LI, hit HF at around 3:45-4:00. One person ahead of me in line for growlers. In and out around 15 mins. after chatting a bit.
