I have found Terrapin in the Paterson and Paramus areas often. Whole Foods Paramus is a good place to try.

I saw it in Manahawkin NJ. Southern ocean county. I know not close to NY (2hours maybe less) but if we are getting it down here, up north should most likely get it. It was at Spirits Unlimited.

Had my first last night; Kona. For a 5.7, pretty good, I say. And if Kona is the least popular, I am looking forward to the other three. It received the SSA. (Spouse Seal of Approval). Also, I gave it 30 minutes of counter time before opening.

Agreed with a lot here who said Sumatra was by far the best. I've now finished all four of them, I'm drinking the Guatemala right now.

Finally tried them all recently, and I thought the Ethiopian was best, too -- although I thought the Guatemalan and Kona weren't too far behind. The Sumatran wasn't my thing.

Like many others, I'm so used to imperial stouts these days, it took me a hot second to get used to the body of a regular stout, but I think it's better for showcasing the different coffee flavors that way.

I did not like these beers. Just an FYI, if you are looking for any body or character in the base beer, you're going to be disappointed. This is excellent proof that adjuncts alone cannot make a beer good.

Pricey in NJ $15.50 include 7% tax. Ethiopia was fantastic, Guatemala real good, I actually thought this one had great body and mouthfeel. The other 2 were a waste of time.

Yeah, I've been stuck on high ABV stouts for a while and can't seem to appreciate too many beers under 9-10%.

Interesting. I've seen Sumatra as the #1 for most people. I just did a blind tasting (cupping) of the four and had Sumatra come out as last. Well, I haven't calculated total scores. I just ranked the overall based on how they did within the four pack (i.e. first was 4.5, second was 4.25, etc.) Ethiopia was my number one, with Guatemala coming in second. Possible bias: I've always flocked towards Guatemala/Ethiopia blends/origins for my morning coffee, but I've always tried to try Sumatra origin coffee as well. Maybe I was picking up hints of Sumatra, but not the whole thing that I enjoy in my coffee cup in the morning. Either way, it was interesting. I was wondering if I could pick a part differences between origins in the beer, and while I couldn't name each origin, I could tell a difference between beers. Love this idea multiple coffee beer idea. I hope more breweries do this.

I want! I enjoy their stouts, but their ipas are a mess to me.

How much coffee actually comes through?

Less than yesterday, but more than tomorrow. Seriously, if you're looking for a Espresso Yeti, these aren't that. But the coffee notes come through nicely, and worth the cost. To my tastes, they are better than the fruit salad being thrown into IPAs these days. Cheers!

Wanted to try this but it never got around to south GA. I'm honestly over Terrapin's shitty distro in GA and being left wanting more after most of their beers. The only Terrapin I can think of that I truly like and seek out is the regular WnB.

Kinda pissed off...somebody went dirty and switched a kona for Guatemala so now I got two konas.
    Pretty fucked up.

Tried these over the weekend, and it was fun to sample and discern the differences. That being said I don't think I was that impressed with all the beers themselves to buy another four pack.
