Dark Lord Day 2016

In addition to the day of being bits of snow and rain, it also forecasts daily rain for the entire week before the event. Looks like the giant puddle from last year will live on.

 

Of all the wild and crazy kids in this thread, I think this is the comment that got my goat, and just confused the ever loving hell out of me.

 

Yeah but as soon as you walk a mile back to the car and drop it all off you feel like a champ. I'm fine without the bottle sales though because I spent way too much during that. I believe that was the same year you could buy Tekus, however only as six packs

 

DAMN IT! I've been looking and hoping for FFF Tekus for a long time. I would've bought a six pack without a blink.

A FFF Teku has been at the top of my glassware want list for an extremely long time.

 

This may sound stupid but I hope they have Pride & Joy as one of the taps. I enjoy Yum Yum but do miss this brew. It always excelled as a consolation 6 pack when Zombie was out.

It would be a welcome sessionable alternative to all the imperial stouts we'll be guzzling.

 

Let's hope they will have that FFF XX anniversary artwork available on Tekus for sale this year!

True true, maybe it was the uncertainty that is coming from me having a Group B ticket. Another tid bit of my dream was that the bottle was in the shape of one of those giant Chianti wine bottles... SPECULATION!

Correct, I forgot I also had a 6 pack of tekus, I only wanted 1 but I cant complain about having extras now.

 

If I recall it was only like 50$ for 6 tekus.

 

I'm going to post a running list of the forecast for 4/30. Moral of the story will be, any forecast more than 3 days out is bullsh*t.

On 3-17 it said its going to be 66 and sunny
On 3-23 it said it's going to be 57 with a bit of rain and snow.

Shit, I just spent 30 bucks for two of Hoof Hearted fart Tekus. 50 for 6 i'd break two out right there on the spot and drink from them not worrying about breaking them.

 

If it snows at 57 degrees, that'll be a first for me. Not sure if I should hate or love the thought of it.

Anyway, love Hoof. Especially now that they've given me an excuse to say "fart tekus" in a sentence.

 

57 is the high, but 37 is also the low. I'm not agreeing with the physics, just relaying the forecast.

Regardless of the weather, we will all be there and some will find a way to bitch about it. Take it in stride, I've been there when I got a sunburn and had to wear rain gear.
