You and I both know that if you have to ask that question you're already too late:wink:

In the Chicago area you will never see Parabola on a shellf unless you place it there while you tie your shoe or look for other beers. Most people grasp their box with a death grip and barely let it go to pay for it.

Parabola hasn't hit distro in Illinois yet. ETA is early April. At least in the city, Binny's always gets FW's vintages and shelves them. Check in and see when they're coming in, cause that said, they will likely sell out the day they arrive.

Depends on where you are...some places near the brewery in Paso? You may or may not see it. Same goes for SLO (my brother lives there). I'm up in the East Bay and will surely see it in a few places (one local shop almost always has FW barrel works beers..still has Sucuba and XIX currently.

Head further south from Paso toward the taproom in Buellton and near SB and its there. Some people further down near Ventura and south toward LA have luck as well. I have seen it in a few beach towns south of Santa Barbara along with other FW rarities, albeit at a premium. Happy hunting!

FW boxed beers hit SoCal in decent quantity, I am in the inland empire area (in between LA and SD for the out of staters), I've been to 2 bottle shops and a total wine that still had sucaba with no limits this week. I actually think the anniversary is harder to get than Parabola. The local shops around me will get multiple shipments of Parabola with 2-3 bottle limits. Total wine will get a decent amount but they will have a 1 bottle limit. I'm just not a fan of bevmo so I don't really know what their situation is like.

During my beer buying days in SF, I'd get about 5-6 cases of each release..6 per case. Good days.

I'm just wondering how much the limits will be cut back. In 2013, I bought a case of 12 at Firestone on my way to a wedding... we drank 8. I picked up 12 more on the way home. In 2014, they limited it to a case of 6. In 2015 it was 4. Will it be 3 in 2016?

Completely agree. The anniversary sells out faster than Parabola in the IE. Which one is better? Hard to say.

Anyone have any luck finding it in the DC area in the past? I wasn't able to get any 2015, but was on the west coast for previous years.

I scored big last year when I bought a full case online from BevMo, six bottles in a case, I kept two and traded four bottles. The BevMo manager tried to tell me I had passed their two bottle limit but since I already paid she just told not to do that again. I don't think that will happen again but I hope so. Parabola is one beer I am willing to chase.

I live about one hour east of LA and it sells out fast, as in one day fast in my area. I usually see it with one bottle limits. Once its posted on social media its time to make a mad dash. Three years ago there was no problem finding it but last year and the year before were pretty tough.

Definately stop by the brewery on the way down. Your GPS will tell you to cut over to Interstate 5 on 156 when you get to Gilroy. But stay on highway 101 until you get to Paso Robles. You can then cut over to I5 on 46. This route will only add about 30 minutes to your trip. Not including the pit stop time at the Brewery.

Limit will be 2. I was just in Paso this past weekend and happened to ask at the emporium store.

Confirmed April 2 & 2 bottle limit on IG. Nice to see Parabola along with sucaba get bumped up to 4,000 cases.

I didn't notice the 4,000 cases. Sucaba still on the shelves in here so was wondering what was up.

I'm sort of surprised it's two bottles per person. That seems really low given how much they made.
