For sure, I still hit Zamora as it's a bit closer to my new abode.

Nah ... the night before announcement definitely does not happen the night before 100% of the time ... definitely happened for Tampa Bay Beer Week, but other times they go on sale immediately, without any warning ... so you gotta drop your shit immediately and rush down there. The mule problem definitely exists as the article states. To me, those are all part of the "shit show" which can easily be avoided through online sales ... unless of course you get off on the frenzy

Only a few people in line an hour before opening. In case anyone is wondering...

Americans eating Mexican food while watching Canadians play a sport. If that isn't the best embodiment of NAFTA, then I don't know what is.

That moment where you literally want to strangle the people in front of you in line because they couldn't figure out wtf they wanted to drink before getting to the register... Despite standing in line for at least 20 min...

Don't leave us hanging..did you or did you not strangle them? I mean if you didn't, good job...but if you did sadly you won't even make the news since there was some shooter and a hostage situation going on in Redlands right now. @grze you still with us buddy?

It's always lovely overhearing the fella next to you in the pouring line talk about how they didn't buy Some Assembly because they only buy beers they could trade out in the event that they don't want to drink them.

I'm confused, why even buy them in the first place if you can potentially see yourself not wanting to drink it?

Haha. I always wondered about that place whenever I drive by. Perhaps I need to stop in next time.

We actually did, super easy. We were posted up right in front of the TV.

Agreed. Having them side by side made me appreciate Ground State that much more...and I love Redeye.

How about that blood orange blonde though? That was amazing.

Damn, decided to skip that one. I went for the Teacursion, which I can understand why most people wouldn't be too crazy about it, but personally I love tea and it's really tough to find a good IPA or anything in fact made with tea. Good stuff from BL.

Only had a little taste of the blood orange blonde, but to me and my GF felt it tasted as if it was a bit watered down on the flavor.

I LOVED that too. The tropical tea notes really hit hard once it warmed up a bit too. That beer is the perfect warm summer night sipper to me.
