As I'm sure you know, the ABC takes major issue with bottles being opened outside of a licensed facility. We have indeed pulled a permit to move the party into the back parking lot behind our buildings, and with that permit comes the risk of being visited by Plain Clothes ABC Agents. We've got a lot of big plans that don't include having our licenses suspended, so we'll need your cooperation in ensuring all drinking activities are on the up-and-up. Confiscated bottles are such a bummer, don't risk it.

 

No, having a top shelf brewery get smacked with a heavy fine and ruin the good thing that BL's anniversary week has been would be a major bummer. Let's hope it doesn't happen.

 

so does that mean they are going to be setting up a full on outside area today as well?

 

They were putting the fencing around the back yesterday. Oh noes! Were will those cross fitters run by now?

Good on them for at least realizing that the capacity and that long line was more of a negative than anything else. No need to have it backed up that badly. There's still going to be lines, but at least you'll be in the staging area and not just occupying space in the tap room.

 

and restricting one pour to each keg will help spread it around.

 

I'm glad i wasnt planning on going even if I was off work. Looking at IG posts god damn that line looks way bigger than the ground state release.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but there are like 400 folks in line....for a 4oz pour of FO? Not bottle release?

The reviews from Huna Day weren't all that great. It's still FO i guess...

 

FOMO has really gotta be the single biggest driving force in the craft beer industry. It's ridiculous. Even if I wasn't working today (yay taxes!) it wouldn't have even crossed my mind to go waste all that time in a line for 4 oz.

 

Drove up up at noon and saw the line. Pulled a quick u turn headed to lunch with the wife. Love FO, but can't do that line....

 

yeah hard pass on that line... got about an hour and a half to drink in anaheim before a wedding so I guess I'll be going to bruery instead

 

In and out today. Now far from the maddening horde.

FO '16 was better than last year. Little less sweet, the touch of stout bitterness gone but the vanilla bean goodness remains.

I'm looking forward to leftover Monday.
