I have 2. One is Troegs Nugget Nectar. I've had a few trades fall through for it but still nothing. And the other is Belching Beaver Peanut Butter stout. I had a buddy in California that I was in the Marines with offer to send me some for nothing, before he could send it he got transferred with his job. Then I tried to order it from Craft Shack. When the order arrived, there was a note stating that they were currently out of stock of Belching Beaver. It's like it just isn't meant to be...

Dude, I said "most" not all. I agree beers you listed above are hard to find.

Does anyone know where you can find Kilkenny in the US or how to get it?

Hell, I've been searching for Heady and I live in RI. Some family members went to Vermont a few weeks back and they couldn't buy any to bring back. Sells out of stores so quick.

I'm glad to hear you have access to Stone beers! Despite the plethora of breweries I can buy from, they're one of my top favorites.

I was finally able to find a gueuze and a real lambic. Not sweetened. Now i just need to find an opportunity to get a wheatwine.

And for such a large brewery, being realistic, I've only had one beer from Boulevard.

Kilkenny is a Diageo (owner of Guinness) beer, and, in recent times, has typically only regularly been available in kegs in the US. There were some variety packs of Guinness products out in the last few years, some of which did contain Kilkenny Cream ale:

But, IIRC, not every market in the US got the same "mix".

The best source of Kilkenny is Canada, where, unlike in the US, it is a standard Diageo import for some reason.

Otherwise, you can try calling Diageo-Guinness USA and see if they have info on the current distribution - (800) 847-4109

My #1 white whale, an Italian beer that I regret not getting my last day in Italy a year and a half ago. Went back to Italy for spring break, traveled to the brewery itself... They sold the last bottle a few weeks before. I'll probably never be able to find it now

Grimm Tesseract. I've tried to get cans and had the opportunity to get it on tap but the keg kicked right before I got there.

I'm comin' for you next month.

Can't vouch for Focal, but the other three will definitely live up to the hype. Keep searching, it'll be worth it

New England brews, to date have only had Heady, SOS, and 1 Trillium brew, so many outstanding breweries out that way.

Does this beer\brewery have a name. I'm going to Italy for 2 weeks at the end of May and it'd be interesting to know so I could keep an eye out for it.

What is the story with this beer? Are you a huge Damnation fan too? I ended up getting a bottle of Batch 23 after stumbling onto it gathering dust at a bottle shop that I just recently discovered. I understand they take every 23rd batch of Damnation age it with oak chips and it becomes a tripel but how much do they bottle, are all the bottles in a 750 mL bottle (I think it's 750mL but I'm not home right now to check but it's an odd size) like the one I got? It has a website link listed on the bottle to allow you to see all the batches (a very basic list online) and how often they end up doing a batch 23. It was expensive though and has some age on it. I'd be interested to learn what you know about this beer.

If you haven't had any of Baladin's Xyauyù series barleywines, they're amazing. I've only had the regular, rum barrel-aged, and whiskey barrel-aged variants.

They produced one a few years ago called Xyauyù Kentucky that was brewed with tobacco leaves. I think they have quite a few brewpubs around Italy and elsewhere, but I can vouch for the one in Rome being fresh out of bottles of this variant. Either way, I'd recommend trying any of them (as well as any of Baladin's other beers). Where in Italy are you going?

I've spent the past couple of years keeping an eye out for Sierra Nevada's Jack & Ken's 30th Anniversary Ale. It was a very dark American Barleywine that I had on tap just as I was getting into beer and loved it. I got excited awhile back cause I was at a bar and it was written up on the board but it turned out they were mistaken and it was a different anniversary beer, the bock I think.

To invoke a way overused beer metaphor, this one really is like the beast that had taken my leg and I have spent years seeking to the bewilderment of my peers.
