Can't wait for this one! One of the first WW beers I ever had and so excited to see it in bottles.

I'll definitely get a bottle if I see it. I had it both times when I visited the brewery. Good stuff.

The beer is really good and the rich keep getting richer. Drink or don't drink.

Had Dark Age at the brewery over the weekend. $5.25 for a snifter. It's a really great beer; although, it was listed as only 10.5% on the board.

I hope this is on tap when I am in Asheville the first of May. I doubt it will be though :slight_frown:

You might be surprised, I see it on tap about 90+% of the time when I stop at the main Brewpub.

I'll have to keep that in mind then. I've only been going to the Funkatorium my last few trips.

Like i posted earlier it will be released on April Fool's Day. That is a direct quote to me from "the source" aka the manager there.

I wasn't certain how much you were being serious there or tossing out an April Fool's reference  It'd certainly fit with the timeline I've heard.

I was thinking the same thing. Wasn't sure if he was kidding or not.

Looks like a few kegs will be making their way east too. I've seen a few bottle shops post for NC Beer Month events.

I was told delivery is next Thursday in the Piedmont area, wouldn't tell me price though :slight_frown:

Yeah i should have asked for a price. Usually the alcohol in my system interferes with the alcohol that will eventually be in my system.

Heard $9.99 at the "presale" at Ridgewood in Raleigh today. They usually price a dollar or two better than everyone else but that's a pretty reasonable price if the quality is there.

Had it today out of the bottle at a pre-tasting. Very BCBS-esque. But holy cow does not taste like the 12% billing! Very excited to have this coming out of NC.

I guess it's close to reasonable.

BCBS was $9.99 in a lot of places for a 16.9oz.
KBS is usually around $7-8 for a 12oz.
Collaboration without Representation was $5 per 16oz can.

I've never had Dark Age so I can't say how it compares to those 3. I'm skeptical I would enjoy it more than any of those.

(And yes, I realize two of those also have adjuncts, just comparing bourbon aged imperial stouts sold in smaller format bottles)
