Stoutfest is definitely an amazing time! I was fortunate enough to get tix to the breakfast the last 3 (4?) years. Such a super well put together event. The Stout, the food, and now the brewers have always been peerless. I slept on the tickets this year but I know you'll all have an amazing time!

Last year was the first year it wasnt all Founders Breakfast stouts (BS, KBS, CBS). Instead there was a 2013 BA Damon from Hill Farmstead, Mott the Lesser aged in Apple brandy barrels from Tributary/Todd Mott, and then an Oxbow Imperial, also aged in Apple Brandy Barrels. No reason to think this year's wont be similarly amazing.

I like to swing in Sunday morning for brunch and catch the leftovers on the tap list.

Not trying to be a troll or the pricing police but can someone explain to me how breakfast and three beers is worth $127.59? What am I missing here? I've been to Armsby and like it well enough but I've never been to this event so I'm curious. Does the mystery of what three beers you're getting get you excited enough to drop that amount of money? Is it the convenience of having a seat for when they start the general taplist? This seems somewhat insane to me. Anyone care to share their thoughts?

    Breakfast and beers...$27.59
Privilege to order beers first at Stoutfest...$100

    It's pretty simple.

Already sold out so perhaps supply and demand is the best answer.

You didn't really answer a question. You just went with the old "supply and demand" BS. Are you going? If so, without even knowing what the menu entails, how did you justify spending the price with no information given?

Honestly it's not that hard to get to $100. 3 courses at +/-$15 each + 3 beers at +/-$10 each gets you to $75. Add in tax + tip and you're right around $100.

I'm going, I initially thought the $127 was for 2 tickets so I only ordered 1 thinking it was for me and my girlfriend. Fortunately after I realized my mistake she was still able to purchase 1 for herself, although we are paying 2x what I had planned on :grimacing:

I've been to the breakfast the past 4 years and got a pair of tickets again this year. For me: the food, the beer, the people and the atmosphere are truly a great experience and one that I look forward to every year. It's a luxury and worth it to me.
