Damn, haven't seen fresh pliny in a long time. My buddy was at rrbc in mid January and all they had was Xmas pliny. Luckily they had 3 day old pig.

Does anyone know of the growler fill policies at the breweries in the OC/LA area? If I remember correctly someone made a google doc or something with a massive list. Don't know if this is the appropriate topic but I don't think it warrants a separate thread.

Beach City held an event on Saturday celebrating/mourning the closure of the tasting room for its upcoming "renovation." You folks think an announcement will come soon to say just what in the hell is actually happening with them? The Beachwood thing still seems like a pipe dream.

Not a pipe dream... It's happening... increased production and an HB tasting room...

I want to believe but all there is to go on so far has been hearsay, nothing concrete or official.

I heard from a Beachwood employee. Feel free to cite me as a source too.

If some guy on the Internet said it, it must be true

Hope they reconfigure the tasting room if this is true. Beach City's tasting room is tiny and not set up very well at all

Not only is it happening, but the plans for the rest of the space they have there really indicates that as sick as the bottle list at Seal Beach is... This new spot may have an even better bottle list.

Their vision should be to build tasting rooms in all cities in SoCal with "Beach" in its name.

It's a done deal. License transfer happens 4/2-4/29. It all depends on the speed of the Alcohol Bureau. Then they start construction which should include removal of office space and cold box, additional fermenters, and a better tasting room. I love my Beachwood.
