Am I the only one that prefers Hoof cans super fresh? I actually enjoy the harshness.

You know what, it is weird with the two can releases I got. Like the South Of Eleven tasted great fresh and it still does, but Roller Blabe was a bit of a mess with that yeast "off" taste. I guess it really depends. I wish I could get my hands on the BA Mom Jeans but it is a drive for me to get there. If they included it with the ticket, I might have done it!

Looks like the tickets aren't going too quickly for the AWHFY? release... there are still over 100 remaining. I wouldn't be surprised to see this release make it into small distribution in the Columbus area.

I wonder if this indicates whether there will still be a huge line for the bba Mom Jeans...if so, their whole ticketing scheme to prevent adverse relations with local law enforcement has just been rendered totally pointless.

But don't you need a ticket for Are We Having Fun Yet in order to be able to purchase a bottle of Mom Jeans?

    Actually that's what I'm wondering--it wasn't clear to me.

Anybody with clear info on this?

Yes you need a ticket to be able to purchase BA Mom Jeans, but I agree with you that there will definitely be a line of people well before they open. I talked to Jarrod last week and he said every week there's been a line before open and with only 100 bottles of BA Mom Jeans for 350 people (max)....uh oh.

As much as I enjoy going to these release parties, I don't think I'll be going to this one. I live only 35 minutes away, but I have too many of their old beers stockpiled right now. If this release is anything like Tub Life, there shouldn't be much of a line by 2:30pm. If I can get it in distribution with a shorter drive, why not?

Blabe is really coming into it's prime right now... I can't believe that slight aging has done good things. Blow it Out was fairly good as well. SOE was very bitter on the day of canning and the bitterness has subsided... Good for me because I prefer the dank fruitiness rather than bitterness.

Anyone seen the status of growler fills at the taproom tonight (or this weekend)?

Curious how that Mom Jeans is going to be. Mom Jeans with coffee last fall was actually outstanding.

Yeah I'm really curious to try it, as far as I'm aware this is the first barrel aged beer they've done. I too loved the coffee version they had back in the Fall, that beer was absurdly good.

That's my problem as well... I still have Blabe, Wangbar, Konkey, SoE and EWS (Citra and Equinox). I just don't drink them fast enough... I only typically buy one or two 4-packs for myself, but even then.

I need to trade them out or something... lol

You can't buy any beers to go without a ticket unless it's a growler. There will deff be a line before open for Mom Jeans, just wondering how early you will actually have to get there to be safe.

I wonder why this release is so calm. Just checked and there are over 120 tickets still available.

Because of BA Mom Jeans. A lot of people (myself included) don't want to go because the line for it is going to require getting there so early. Really wish it was more than 100 bottles.

Yeah, I'm thinking 10AM to be safe and that sounds not fun.

But if you don't care about BA Mom Jeans, just show up at 2:30 and get your cans and leave. I would have thought the tickets would have at least sold.
