I'm going to make a call to Gov. Christie's office to tell him that there are NJ residents leaving the state to buy beer instead of patronizing the local breweries in their home state. Maybe he can shutdown the tollbooths on the Outerbridge, Goethals, Bayonne Bridge, and Holland Tunnel from 6am-noon every other Saturday to remedy this issue.

Just wanna note that although I am by definition part of the loathed group of Jersey BAs who go to OH releases and take away a few precious 4 packs from the locals here and there, I live way closer to Other Half than Jersey's best breweries (Kane or Carton) and also even closer to Other Half than New Yorkers coming from certain boroughs, such as Queens, for example. I have no car so driving down to Kane or Carton is not an option for me. I live right outside of the Lincoln Tunnel and have been coming to Other Half on the subway since Summer 2014, long before they started canning and gaining this amount of hype. Even if they started doing weekday releases, it wouldn't keep all of us Jersey dudes away. Just wanted to put that out there  NJ location doesn't necessarily mean I'm coming from hours away just to buy up all the cans and cause problems in the neighborhood.
    OH fanboy for life! :stuck_out_tongue:
Also, I'm not even one of the guys who drinks on line during releases. Those guys give us Jersey BA's a bad rap.

Man this release seemed quite action packed. Sad I missed it...

They're going to continue doing these releases, right? Hopefully...even though I don't enjoy waiting on line the Saturday releases always work out better for me...

This seems to fit into a larger, national dialogue of scapegoating non locals for our own inconveniences....

Edit: Make Other Half Great Again 2016!

He would have to actually do work for the state of NJ to get that done, something he hasn't done in about a year.

hey im from jersey (atlantic highlands) actually. I have nothing but love for the state. Also, I never suggested not coming in. Other Half should just have a weekday release or distribute to some mom & pop shops. Jersey can have first dibs on Saturday releases. They are just much more inclined to wait in line.

Clearly I'm just kidding around. NY, NJ, I'm just glad we have some great breweries to grab fresh beer at on any given weekend.

    Those Pennsylvania MFer's though!!!!

I think the long islanders are the real problem. With Sand City they finally have legit beer, stay out there and enjoy it!
