Can't wait! I'm now 20 minutes further down the road after moving but I still can't wait to see this place.

On a side note, I can't help but wonder if there is a little bit of regret over selling to Duvel for only $250M after seeing Ballast Point go for $1B. Not that they're necessarily the same size or have the same distro footprint, but BP doesn't make anything that compares to FW's offerings in terms of hype.

 

@SoCalBeerIdiot to be fair, Firestone sold a 50% stake in the company for $250 million and still retains independent control of the brewery. Ballast Point filed for an IPO (valuing the company at about $170 million) and then shortly after Constellation just bought them outright for a billion, mainly as a future investment.

They just announced the Expo Line extension is opening on May 20th. Best Westside one-two punch before summer, Firestone opens then shortly after the Metro opens can't wait exciting times in LA!

 

Though firestone and the expo line are pretty far from one another. that would be a long walk.

according to their latest projection (1st or 2nd week of April) you will be in luck. but, the opening date has been pushed so many times nothing will surprise me at this point

if they really are planning to open that soon i'm surprised they haven't announced an official date yet.

 

Well, well, well, the moment a lot of us have been waiting for is finally at hand!

Stopped by this morning to check on the progress and was informed that:

Official opening is Wednesday April 6th.
