Well I am 95% packed up.
I have room for a couple of more things that I will pick up tomorrow. Than it is off to drop off at FedEx and the post office.

The only question is where is this box going. Was the box to @lateralusbeer Just a smokescreen to divert attention from my real target? I guess that will be answered shortly.

My target should have received his box today, wondering if he's figured me out yet...

Approximately 7256cc of liquid goodness headed to a fella what lives underground. Or maybe he doesn't. Who knows with these hippies! Anyway now the anxiety can really settle in and take hold until it is confirmed to have safely made it to the other side of the country. The rest will either go out tomorrow morning or when I get back from DC. Depends on whether there needs to be a separate container for the non-beer items...

Drinking stout verticals are some of life's best enjoyments. Are there folks who don't like them?

Can't offer a true vertical... but I did remove some multiples from a couple of my verticals to fulfill this BIF?

Wooaaaahhhhh, April 10 is gonna be one drunken day on NBS. Good thing it will be Maria's turn to host, as she isn't in this round of the BIF:grinning: Can't wait!

Tracking shows a box is out for delivery in the Chicago area.:grinning:

Just hoping that last bit of obfuscation is a little gentle ribbing...I'll be dreaming of those boxes!

Of course, given the arms race of generosity this BIF has become, I'll probably feel compelled to go light up @WesMantooth again if it's as insane as it looks.

Had a thought about the Reveal Day and the reward for Best Shipper @smanson56 has so generously offered. What if we open up the voting to the NBS crew as a whole that day?
    Thoughts? Concerns? Threats?

I had thought about that too. I'm going to say no, just keep it to the BIFers. I look at it like the presidential election cycle; I'm an Independent, I choose to not join a party, I shouldn't get a say who a particular party's candidate is. They want to vote on who gets the bonus boxes (BTW, still looking for a sponsor for the Bronze medal box. Smanson is sending to the Gold, and jhavs is sending to the Silver), they should join the BIF. Just my thought, whatever the majority thinks is fine with me.

FWIW, I've already submitted my vote to Smanson, along with my reasons. I've already told him, so I'll tell y'all: my vote for best box goes to @jhavs . That was a truly awesome box. It didn't have a seat cushion though!:stuck_out_tongue: Remember, ya can't vote for the box you sent, or (I believe, correct me @smanson56 ) received.

Woo Hoo, and you have not seen the second round yet! Looks like it got delivered!

Let me know when you get into it. There's a couple beers that are labelled with their names but not their brewers, and I'll be able to save you a little time hunting them down in the db.
My thought was that without a dog in the fight, an overall NBS vote would be more unbiased, but with the two restrictions you suggest, we can manage without 'em.

I don't think there's anything wrong or bad about letting the NBSers vote, I just thought that maybe the prospect of a 'free' box might nudge a few more into joining the next round. Shrug. I've still got one foot on the fence, so I can go back over easily enough.

Should we wait for all boxes to land before voting starts?
