Ha, came in to post just this. I'm not sure what the heck happened with that dark/malty batch, but they have fixed it. Really Rosie is back on at the brewpub, though no growlers.

I also had a chance to visit the production house last weekend and got to try the Baron Corvo for the first time (!) - it's an instant favorite of mine.

New batch of Range Life utilizing all Idaho 7 hops is on at the Right Proper brewpub today. Tasting pretty damn great!

Anyone know what the crowler limits are on the Aslin IPAs? Called but no one picking up.

Are they all $14 or are IPAs less than the DIPAs?

I agree that the prices are definitely up there for a brewery so young, but at the same time they seem confident they can maintain and or up their IPA & DIPA game. Should they make an error at those prices, some fans will probably end up complaining more vocally.

I thought growlers are cheaper ($22 or $24)? Did they raise their prices again?

They seem to waste a ton of beer when filling growlers. Maybe that's why the prices are so high?

I think going forward they are only filling their IPA's in crowlers, which are 32 oz. and $13 a piece. At their current prices (and distance from me + tolls) the only thing I plan to buy in the future are Orange Starfish, Mind the Hop, and their Deceiver variants; their prices are too high to justify otherwise.

It'd be awesome to get some Aslin on tap around DC. Ocelot's deal with Meridian/Brookland Pint got me hooked on their hoppy beers, but it's hard to justify driving out to Herndon just to try Aslin.

They seem to be doing just fine for now though, and i'm sure they'll expand soon enough.

Is it really that hard to drive from DC out to Herndon? People do the reverse of that five times a week. Keep drinking your DC Brau I guess.
