    Thanks!

I popped over to NG and got some. As of 3:00 p.m. there still looked to be about 28 cases left, plus some misc. sixers and fourpers on the shelves.

If anyone is in the Madison area and is dying to have a Zwickel, stop by the Mr. Brews in Monona today from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. (that's 20 minutes from now) and I'll give you one.*

    * Limit one per person. No trades or cash accepted, "free" is the only offer I will accept. Supplies limited. Void where prohibited. Any rebroadcast, retransmission, or account of this game, without the express written consent of Major League Baseball, is prohibited.

You are very welcome! On my second bottle and it's clean, crisp and delicious. I think Yokel is better but this is still a damn fine brew! Sharing the wealth, love it! Some of mine will be spread around the Chicago area too

I would have come out but I just got home from work. New Glarus' hours are too identical, if quite a bit shorter, than my regular work hours. Hoping there's still some kicking around this weekend.

Has anyone peeked to see what dates the current batch of Scream are at the depot?

Can anyone help a brother out? Is Zwickel still available at the brewery?

I would call first but I would guess there is still some at the brewery.

Does anyone know if they are going to continue brewing Zwickel or if it's just a few runs and done?

Another instance of strange label inconsistencies from NG. What I really want to know is whether Zwickel is unfiltered and unpasteurized as it should be for the style. Perhaps the clarity is due to them deciding that it was too hazy and running it through the filter, or perhaps we'll see its clarity vary from case to case as we did w early Scream (those cloudy Screams were the best). Damnit Deb, just put some actual info on the labels!

I would guess they aren't filtering it but running it through the centrifuge.

I'm drinking a Weihenstephaner 1516 Kellerbier (a Zwickel) right now, and it has the same clarity as NG Zwickel Bier. Interestingly, the 6 pack holder states it is unfiltered and naturally cloudy, when in fact it is not. I even made sure to re-suspend any yeast that may have caked on the bottom of the bottle but still perfect clarity.

Having no experiences with Kellerbiers before the 1516, I was wondering about the clarity of it too. It say unfiltered but I'd say there was a slight haze to it at best and that was even after pouring the most of it and swirling the last bit of it before pouring it all

I'm all for new beers from NG but did you notice how dancing man is only availble until April?! Dan how am I supposed to drink dancing man all summer if you stop making it in April? I realize bubbler is gonna be using the same equipment but still. Looks like I'm gonna have to load up to make it through to august lol.

Anyone got any idea if they're planning to do Berliner weiss again? They did it for the last 3 years from from May to July I believe just curious if anyone thinks they will continue that pattern.

I know I'm picking nits here, but the beer schedule says that it's available through May--so I'd guess you'll have no problems finding it on the shelves through early summer at least.

I wonder if Bubbler will be similar to Solstice--I hope so!

Isn't Dancing Man the rename of Solstice? I seem to remember in the time Unplugged went to Thumbprint, reading something about the stealing of names that someone else used the Solstice name, and NG switched the name of the beer to Dancing Man.
