I read a recent article about Burial and their collaboration with Revelry Brewing out of charleston and how this was the first of 2 they were doing. The second being this summer to be released at their launch in SC. So I was just curious if anyone had info on whether they would be distributing here in SC and if it would be available in the upstate.
The answer to your question is in their latest FB post: "We'll be hosting a second collab with Revelry Brewing to be released when we launch in SC this summer." That means they'll be distributing their beers in SC.
That's good news, I've had a few Burial Beers, and I'm looking forward to SC distro...are you listening Wicked Weed????
That's how I read it too just wasn't sure if there was any more info. I'm excited for them to be here love their beer especially the Skillet Donut.
"We would love to be in South Carolina. However, current distribution laws and its "franchise state" status make it difficult for many craft breweries to operate in the state. If the day ever comes that South Carolina changes those laws, we will be there."
Stoked that Burial is going to start distributing in SC. I just recently got a can of their Scythe Rye IPA and have been wanting to try Skillet Donut Stout for awhile now.
I'm pretty sure Wicked Weed has sold off most of their distro rights so it's probably not up to them anymore where they are launched.
