KBS in Chicagoland (2016)

Using the flexibility that being a PhD student provides me...unfortunately also using the money that it does not provide me.

 

I wouldn't be shocked if Binny's Lakeview had some still, but wouldn't be surprised if it were gone, too.

Best bet is to find the places most convenient to you and start calling, then keep working your way further away. It might be frustrating (since most answers will be no), but you'll get that done quicker than waiting for responses here probably.

 

I work from home. I have to use that to my advantage to make up for my introverted personality which prevents me from being "recognized" as a regular.

 

Eye opening stuff, maybe I'll sneak that into my next contract so I can hunt the real whales (bourbon).

Definitely. It sounds to me like most places aren't getting it today based on what I've inquired. I think we'll see this roll in over the next week or so to some smaller stores.

 

Try your local jewel. My lbs mentioned today is mostly going to be Binnys and jewel.

 

Thought about going back through but the line was still pretty long and I didn't have anywhere to drop my bottles. Can't really complain though. I was about 40th and was out by 9:10.

 

Jewel at state and grand has it. No limit. After texting friends, I just said fuck it and bought a case. This way they can just pay me.

 

Binny's Algonquin super easy, only 3 people in line at 8:30(about 15-20 at open). In and out, 1 4pk limit, then cruised over to Mchenry's Binny's by 9:30 and grabbed another 4pk.

 

Did they have much left? Wondering if I could venture that way in a bit.

 

When I asked, the guy wheeler out about 5 cases. I grabbed one. I work next door and can go check.

 

i just called and he said only one case left as of now. Trying to run over!

 

anyone heard about Binnys in Arlington Heights? Might try to run over there on my lunch break.
