    I'm just throwing this out there - I had a White Birch Berliner Weisse the other day for the first time, and loved it. Like a fat kid loves... not quite cake, but close. Maybe a grilled cheese. Never mind how it wound up in my glass, but it turns out to have been a fortunate accident.

    If this makes me wrong, then I don't want to be right.

    I believe you. The beers he sent me weren't as stomach-churningly awful as I was expecting; I don't think WB is anywhere near 'good,' but they've graduated to a comfortable 'mediocre / disappointing' from a once-confident 'terrible.'
